Summer 2013 Anime

Actually, the anime intended for the blood to be pink for various reasons related to the age group. Im unsure if you have read the manga or not, but all the anime did so far is follow the manga's intentions of keeping the blood pink. With that said, I don't think it's that bad tbh.

But so far, nothings really shining this season. Ive continued w/ Free though because it's not terrible I guess haha.

It's a vn, not a manga, and I wasn't talking about the pink blood. I would have been mad if they changed that because it's iconic of the series. However, they actually censored the violence in the execution compared to the cutscene from the game, which really wasn't that bad to begin with.

So just to recap on some of the Summer Anime, I think, the best anime this season would probably be Kamisama no Inai Nichiyoubi (bar Attack on Titan, which was an overrated anime). The world is unique as well as the story, and the characters don't feel cliche at all. There are plenty of heartwarming scenes and the heroine is pretty cool imo. There isn't a lot of action, but when it happens it happens with style and it moves the story forward in a good way. I think that this is a must-watch for those who are looking for a solid anime. My one and only gripe is that they ended the season at 12 episodes and I feel like there could've been much more content. The manga is way far behind and I think the plan is to have the manga catch up to the anime before another season happens, but we'll see. There's just so much of Ai's (the heroine) world that can be explored that I feel like keeping it at 12 episodes does not do it justice.

I don't know about an AOTS, I guess I would say Monogatari even though the first arc was pretty bad. Having only Hanekawa and Senjogahara for like 6 episodes was painful, but the reintroductions of the rest of the cast has gone well so far. If I had to pick a non-sequel it would be Love Lab. If you want to know why I offer only this as explanation:
