uh. Outrage + Lifeorb shouldn't deviate from normal usage, it would deal 10% each time the Outrage hits.

example 1:
Opponent sent out Dragonite
You sent out Garchomp@Lifeorb

You use Outrage, Puff the magic dragon falls! *10% Life orb damage*

Opponent sends out Slowbro

Garchomp uses Outrage *10% Life orb*
Slowbro uses Ice beam (easily taking out 80% HP Chomps)
 
So, I'm trying to decide between Modest or Timid Starmie. The thing is that I love Special Sweeper Starmie (not necessarily spec'd), and I really don't want that 29-point loss in SpAtt.

What's the general consensus?
 
Do Resist Berries have any effect when the attack isn't super-effective? i.e. if i put Yache Berry on Scizor and was hit by an ice-type attack, would the damage be reduced by half?
 
Is it possible to have a Metagross with Thunderpunch in anything but a Pokeball?

I just faced someone on PBR wifi with a Thunderpuncing Metagross in an Ultra Ball, and I didn't think that was possible...or is it?
 
Thunderpunch isn't a breeding move, it's an Emerald Move tutor move, it's quite obvious that they probably caught a beldum/metang in emerald with an ultra ball and then taught it thunderpunch, then brought it over to D/P through pal park :] elemental-ry (punches) my dear watson.
 
Is there a list out there which shows the encounter rate and areas of any National Dex Safari Zone pokemon, such as Kangaskhan and Yanma?
 
How many ribbons does it take to get into that blasted ribbon society? And does it all have to be on one pokemon, does it count anyone in your team or does it count all ribbons total for every pokemon.
 
Scarlet Spyder: They reduce EVs in their respective stat by 10, but in D/P they make any EV stat over 100 become 100. For example, a pokemon with 156 EVs in HP would be brought down to 100, then another berry would make it 90.

That would be nice... except that... you don't catch Beldum/Metang in Emerald. Steven gives it to you in a pokeball and then you breed for more.
 
@poke-chan, sorry i really never bothered with starmie/staryu

My question, is what the heck is the point of mushrooms in DP. I know you used them with the move relearner in Fr/Lg but after going through my bag i must have found about 12 tiny mushrooms and 3 big mushrooms from throughout my journey, yet still no use for them.
