Is Lati@s banned in Wifi play?

The Lati@s are not allowed unless stated so by both players, since they are still considered LIEK TEH 1337 OOBARZ. Yeah, Soul Dew or not, they still are broken so you shouldn't use them unless it's stated that they are allowed or if you are having an OOBARZ match.
 
Lati@s is considered uber regardless of Soul Dew. Latios thrashes Salamence in moveset, typing, and stat allocation, and look at how much of a threat Specsmence is already.
 
I have a Latios I'm using in Battle Tower now. Specsmence can't even dream of doing what this guy does. I normally run Boltbeam+Calm Mind+Draco Meteor, with a Life Orb. Life Orb'd Draco Meteor does 1-2% less damage than Specsmence's Draco Meteor without Calm Mind. Once I CM up and start to sweep, if I run into trouble, Draco Meteor bails me out.

I'd much rather face Specsmence (who's limited to 1 attack) than Lati@s
 
I guess that's fine. I still get annoyed when I have "NO UBERS" in bold on my NetBattle battle info for everyone to see, and still get challenged by people with teams of 6 Ubers. I should learn to just turn them off, but it still shows the stupidity of the world.

Similar things happen to me frequently on Net Battle, I state no SkarmBliss and no DT they come on with a DT Passing Umbreon and SkarmBliss. It's rather common, since people on Net Battle mostly just want to say "Oh hey, he's not battling, let me challenge him and hope he allows my double teaming, OHKOing, SkarmBliss using OOBARZ team." :chaos:
 
Funny, back in the day when I played Netbattle, I would put up a team of 6 Ubers, state clearly that I don't want to battle anyone unless they want an uber battle, and still get the "zomg u noob u uzr ubrez" message alot.

Lol, that happens to me. I really havn't got a set team on Netbattle yet, so I'm continualy testing. My info says "Testing team, unrated prefered, single only. NO SKARM OR BLISS"

And I still end up facing lots of Skarm+Bliss users, who go "oops, missed that, sorry"
