Hey there Smogon users! Im here with my 3rd RMT. Im starting to get into NU so i may not know all of the threats in the metagame. This team is based around rain+Simipour so i hope you will like this^^.

Ludicolo @ Life orb
Trait: Swift swim
EVS: 252 sp.atk / 252 spe / 4 sp.def (Nothing special)
Modest nature
-Hydro pump
-Ice beam
-Giga drain
-Rain dance
Here is my first member ludicolo. With rain dance, Ludicolo has become a amazing mid/late game sweeper.
With it's speed doubled, it outspeed most powerful choice scarf users like primeape and jynx. Hydro pump is ludicolo's main water type STAB move as it hits pokes like a truck. Ice beam gives him some coverage against grass types. Giga drain is his other STAB move as it hits bulky water types such as seismitoad. I went for modest> timid because it allows me to hit special walls harder then with a timid nature such as lickilicky. I can't outspeed choice scarf tauros, but at least i can speedtie it.

Jynx @ Choice scarf
Trait: Dry skin
EVS: 252 sp,atk / 252 spe / 4 sp.def
Timid nature
-Psychic
-Ice beam
-Lovely kiss
-Trick
Here is my second member: Jynx. She is my scarfer for my team. With it's 95 base spe, it is a great scarfer just like primeape. Its also a great late-game sweeper just like ludicolo. Dry skin allows jynx to heal herself even though she is basically gonna hit/sleep and run. Ice beam is her most powerful STAB move. Psychic is here second STAB move as it provides decent coverage with ice beam. Jynx is great for revenge killing carracosta after a shell smash with ease. Trick provides a way to cripple her common switch in such as metang and munchlax. Lovely kiss can make jynx into a fast sleep-inducer that could remove threats from the opposing opponents team.
115.gif

Kangaskhan @ Silk scarf
Trait: Scrappy
EV'S 252 atk / 216 spe / 40 hp
Adamant Nature
-Fake out
-Double edge
-Sucker punch
-Earthquake
Here is my third member Kangaskhan. She is my Check to psychic and ghost types such as golurk or jynx. 216 spe allows me to outspeed choice banded sawk, Gardevoir, and other 85 speed based pokes. I knew that i needed a poke that has priority moves so that riolu teams cant run over my team. Fake out is a nice STAB move as it has priority and can stop riolu from doing his troll things. Double edge is her main STAB move. I chose this over return because the power between return and double edge is pretty noticeable like turning 3HKOs to 2HKOs. Sucker punch is also a nice priority move as it checks psychic and ghost types. Earthquake gives kangaskhan nice coverage against rock and steel types that can take kangaskhans moves for days.

Sawk @ Choice band
Trait: Mold breaker
EVS: 252 atk / 252 spe / 4 def
Adamant nature
-Close combat
-Ice punch
-Stone edge
-Earthquake
Here is my 4th member: Sawk. Sawk is my banded poke on my team. With his power and mold breaker, He can punish pokes that likes to set up stealth rocks and mold breaker allows him to bypass sturdy so it can easily OHKO pokes like probopass and golem. Close combat is his main STAB move. Not alot of pokes can safely switch into Sawk as Close combat has a great chance to 2HKO them. Earthquake allows me to hit sawks most common switch in, such as garbodor, weezing and misdreavus. With mold breaker, Earthquake can now OHKO Eelektross. Ice punch allows him to hit golurk and bulky grass types. Stone edge provides him coverage by hitting bug and flying types.

Seismitoad @ Damp rock
Trait: Swift swim
EVS: 96 hp / 252 sp.atk / 160 spe
Modest Nature
-Rain dance
-Hydro pump
-Earth power
-Stealth rock
Here comes my 5th member: seismitoad. He is my stealth rock user of my team. With rain dance, he can take full advantage of the rain and start dishing out some damage. With his part-ground typing, he is immune to electric type so volt-turn will be completely ruined. Hydro pump is his most powerful STAB move. A rain boosted hydro pump can hit things like a truck (Just like ludicolo). Earth power is his other STAB move as it hits pokes that resist Hydro Pump. I have damp rock on my seismitoad so i can get the rain up longer. Stealth rocks can help simipour by breaking down walls.

Simipour @ Life orb
Trait : Torrent
EVS 252 sp.atk / 128 atk / 128 spe
Naive nature
-Hydro pump
-Ice beam
-Grass knot
-Super power
Here is my final and the star of the team: Simipour. This is not the ordinary simipour, its a mixed one. Life orb is there because simipour really needs that power to wallbreak. Hydro pump is his main STAB move and in the rain, Its very powerful. Ice beam provides it coverage by hitting grass types such as tangela. Grass knot allows me to hit alomomola and seismitoad pretty hard. Super power is the crux of this set. Common switch in such as lickilicky think they can take simipour's hits for days, but after getting destroyed by super power. 128 atk allows me to kill lickilicky with a super power after they take a hydro pump first. I wont be able to outspeed charizard anymore, but the opponent might think its the usual NP simipour. (Nice video Rchizzle9 lol)
252 spA Life orb Simipour Hydro pump vs 240/ 16 sdef musharna in rain: (74.82-88.22%) 6.25% chance to OHKO after stealth rocks
128 atk Life orb Simipour Super power vs 252 hp /4 def Lickilicky: (62.02-72.87%) Guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth rocks
252 spA Life orb Simipour Ice beam vs 248 / 168 sdef+ Mandibuzz: (42.31-50.35%) Guaranteed 2HKO after stealth rocks
252 spA Life orb Simipour Grass knot (60 BP) vs 252 Hp / 4 sdef Almomola: (49.25-57.86%) guaranteed 2HKO after stealth rocks

CONCLUSION
Well, there you have it. My very first NU team. Please give me any advice for what to change as all of them will be considered.Thank you for taking your time to look at my team^^

Nice team, I like the use of Simipour under rated pokemon imo. This team REALLY hates grass type moves jynx helps but not if you are forced to take a hit. I often times love to run Sawsbuck with my seismitoed because most of the time They wont want to use their grass moves as much, or they will always be scard of it coming in with its sap sipper and destroying something (Which will happen).

Idk what you would want to replace however(probably kanga as your rain sweepers handle ghosts just fine). Another idea is to have a lead setter of sorts, one that sets up rain dance and then is meant to die right after to get to wallbreaking quickly. Liepard comes to mind, it can also be an antilead with taunt and has prankster rain dance.

So basicly just something to resist / absorb grass moves reliably and a pokemon to help set up Rain dance early on and easier.

Thank you for your suggestions^^. I dont really want to get rid of kanga because my team will just get run over'd by a great riolu team user, but liepard could be a good asset to my team.

Well all the riolu's ive seen run protect JUST to stop kanga (Unless kanga can 1 shot the riolu b4 it roars), also i went on ps and found that volbeat also learns rain dance so thats an option too.
Edit** liepards taunt is all the counter you need for riolu so kanga is replaceable now ^^

Well I guess theres no reason to not put liepard in Lol

Actually, liepard is a very good poke on rain teams as it can reliably set up rain thanks to prankster (not for riolu, but that is besides the point)

Very interesting team, a fairly standard rain team with a little bit of creativity to cover potential threats. Nice job!
One question that I have is what is your normal lead? Sawk and seismetoad are 2 of the best leads in the tier, with sawk scaring off just about all S.R. leads, while seismetoad can hit lots of leads with hydro pump and set up stealth rocks. I feel like if you lead off with sawk, you opponent isn't getting off S.R right away, which is fine (not a big deal since your team isnt weak to them), but then it is more difficult to get off a rain dance. On the other hand, seismetoad can lead, but then must choose to set up S.R (letting opponent do the same), attack and not have rain up, or set up rain while your opponent fires off an attack or S.R. I think that your seismetoad is trying to accomplish too much. I know S.R are an important move, but it is not as important on a rain team, as the purpose is to fire off as many attacks as possible. You can use the seismetoad ( with maybe sludge bomb over stealth rocks to hit grass types like serperior that can give this team troubles), but I would suggest a spread of 32HP/252 SpA/220 speed. I am not sure why you are using the spread you are using, besides that is standard, but this EV spread will let you outspeed scarfed 95 speed+ pokes such as primeape and jynx after a rain dance, which is always helpful, and the extra hp is not as important. If you want a more reliable rain setter though, I would suggest either Rotom-A or Volbeat over seismetoad. Rotom-A has the advantage of setting up rain and firing off very powerful thunders, which is an advantage against water pokes that can cause problems, while either an air slash or hp ice deal with grass types better. You can choose a bulkier investment as a nice pivot that won't lose you much momentum (which you do not have right now, not that you need it) and a somewhat slow volt switch, or a faster spread to outspeed sawk. Volbeat automatically sets up free rains, which is a benefit in and of itself, but it can encore utility mvoes used by the opponent and proceed to u-turn to gain momentum that way. Using volbeat would also let you beat riolu (which really isn't a problem with or without kangaskan, as your team's offensive power overpowers riolu).

Your simipour looks very fun and interesting to use. It would be nice to show us the calc for hydro pump against lickilicky to really show the benefit of superpower. I do not think lickilicky would really be a great switch to simipour either way, but even if it does take a hydro pump, wouldn't the lickilicky protect, and then revealing your kicker move superpower? Yeah you could hydro pump again, and lickilicky could wish in the process. The lack of speed also hurts, especially because it is not getting any faster with the rain boost. I would think either gorebyss or floatzel would work better in this slot. Gorebyss can be a scary poke in rain because of its high special attack and speed boost, while it can also boost and be effective out of rain. Mixed rain sweeper Floatzel can notably 2hko lickilicky in the rain with waterfall, while providing special support and extra speed in rain.
