If you put ketchup on anything, you need to try marinara sometime. Eggs? Great with marinara. Fries? Great with marinara. Sandwiches? Great with marinara. Cheese also improves all of those things, and it also goes great with marinara.

Ketchup just tastes weird and has an unsettling texture for something tomato-based.

Completely outclassed.

Eggs that are: Poached/Scrambled/Breaded (like French Toast) Yes put ketchup on those bad boys.

Fried Eggs? Oh HELL NO.

I put ketchup on my eggs and sometimes when I'm feeling a little frisky I put ketchup and horseradish on my eggs

ketchup is good on eggs but if you dont put syrup, salt, and pepper on them instead you are missing out on a perfect thing

Nope, that still hurts Chou. However, I was intrigued by something you had said. I scrambled some eggs for breakfast / lunch today and got some toast...and whipped out a bottle of A1. I tried a little bit of A1 with just the eggs and didn't like it, but when I put the scrambled eggs on the toast, put a bit of A1 on it, and folded it up...it tasted pretty good, not going to lie. Thanks, Chou.

Why the tomato hate? I'd rate it as one of the best vegetables in the world (yes I know it's a fruit but don't be smart-ass); it can function well in so many dishes. KETCHUP, on the other hand, I cannot stand. I think the last time I had ketchup was 2 years ago...

This, but 10 years ago. Ketchup is seriously for kids. I put cayenne pepper on my eggs.

well before last academic year i would say lmao never, ketchup on any properly cooked eggs is a waste of perfectly delectable and nutritious egg. ketchup generally takes over any other taste because of its strong flavor, eggs are great so i wouldn't want to eliminate their flavor with ketchup. but in the dining halls buffet breakfasts they serve scrambled 'eggs' that are the liquid shit that comes out of the carton and have the taste and texture of utter garbage, so ketchup on those actually made them bearable (but i guess hot sauce also does the trick). so if they are legit normal eggs, f*ck ketchup, but if u just need something to cover the flavor of trash then use all the ketchup u need =]

I think @Chou Toshio and I should hook up and eat many different foods with ketchup on them just to see how Smogon reacts.

I love ketchup on everything. Waffles, chips, crisps, bread, in sandwiches, wraps, fish, beef, lamb, pork... fuck I have it with almost everything :p

Only on scrambled... but I mean Tabasco sauce is fuckin god tier on eggs so why would I put on ketchup instead?

Chou with that extremely relevant avatar.

I've actually always wondered why people put Ketchup on almost everything. The biggest offender being macaroni and cheese.
