Stall 5evar (2117 ACRE and still going!)

(it's longer dan 4evar)
Intro:
Punk ain't dead! STALL AIN'T DEAD!!
I really wanted to make a stall team with good typing synergy and so far I've had pretty good success. Williing to take any suggestions for improvement :)

Team Building Processs:

Ah Skarm-bliss, practically made for each other. I thought this would be a good core for my team then I changed my mind in favor of something unique with a nice electric resistance.

227.png

Much better! Amoongus is so underrated. With duel statuses to inflict, electric resist, good special defense, kills toxic spikes, and regenerator, what's not to love?

With a crippling weakness to fire as well as pokemon with psyshock and thunderbolt (Lati@s), I desperately needed a specially-defensive Heatran to offset this.

248.png

Because weather is everywhere in this gen, I thought I could use a weather-inducer of my own to screw over rain and sun teams. Plus: stealth rock. Yay hazzards! Specially-defensive T-tar is just the man for the job.

Seeing as I could use more defense, who better than a bulky water? Water absorb has worked swimmingly with rain dance teams and having a counter to keldo, who would otherwise wreck my team, is great.

I've tinkered a lot with this last spot and finally settled on Alakazam as my "last resort help I'm being swept" pokemon. With magic guard and focus sash, I'm guaranteed at least one hit and it's type coverage helps with a few of my counters.

Threats:
-Jirachi, Jirachi, Jirachi.
I really LOATHE Jirachi or any pokemon that can paralyze my entire team. I also don't have an easy way to kill it. Thought about switching Alakazam for a dugtrio solely for this purpose.
- Pokemon with mixed sets such as Hydreigon with superpower or Tyranitar with Fire Blast. They're just really difficult to counter and I have to make some really lucky predictions to counter them.

Indepth look:
248.png

Truckasaurus (Tyranitar) (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Atk
Careful Nature
- Pursuit
- Stealth Rock
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake

Truckasaurus SMASH!! Usually my lead for setting up stealth rock and sandstorm- pretty self explainatory. I ended up switching Crunch for Earthquake to deal with Heatran, Jirachi and opposing Tyranitar. Thought about changing the nature, but I like being slower than politoed.

623.png

Queen-B (Jellicent) (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 248 HP / 216 Def / 44 Spd
Bold Nature
- Recover
- Will-O-Wisp
- Taunt
- Shadow Ball

Pretty standard bulky Jellicent. I went for shadow ball over surf because it hits other Jellicent better and people usually suspect the surf and switch to their warer-resist. Jellicent is also my spin-blocker for hazzards, and shadow ball deals better damage to tentacruel and Starmie with will-o-whisp for donphan.
227.png

Iron Maiden (Skarmory) (F) @ Shed Shell
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 232 Def / 252 HP / 24 Spd
Impish Nature
- Roost
- Spikes
- Whirlwind
- Brave Bird

None can pierce the Iron Maiden!! Seriously, this thing is a tank. As long as I keep its hp up, it's pretty near impossible for a psysical attacker to take down bar critical hits. Went for shed shell purely out of fear of Magnezone. This pokemon, along with Heatran, are my two main phasers for racking up hazard damage.
621.png

Fun-guy (Amoonguss) @ Black Sludge
Trait: Regenerator
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP /4 Sp. Atk
Calm Nature
- Clear Smog
- Giga Drain
- Spore
- Stun Spore

I have no idea why this thing isn't in OU. First off, Spore is broken. I then immediately go for stun spore as most people switch out. Clear smog has saved my ass on quite a few occasions, namely when there's one pokemon left on the oponents team and I can't phase them. Can we also talk about regenerator? It has got to be my favorite ability, allowing me to keep sending it in over and over as if it never took any damage.

490.png

Crack-a-toe-a (Heatran) @ Leftovers
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP
Calm Nature
- Lava Plume
- Earth Power
- Roar
- Protect

Ow! My toe!! Again, pretty standard. I went for protect over hidden power ice because it helps with a lot of choice users and for also boosting my leftovers recovery/stalling for sand damage. A counter I forgot to mention was Volcorona with hidden power ground, but it doesn't come up too often and usually I have stealth rock up to deal with it.

65.png

2 Scoops Plz (Alakazam) (F) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Signal Beam
- Focus Blast
- Psyshock

My trusty revenge killer. Went for signal beam over shadow ball to deal with Celibi, hidden power fire for the steel types because Skarmory deals with all the dragons, and psyshock because it counters Terrakion during sandstorm while psychic doesn't. Thought about trying to fit in counter somewhere as a surprise but the other moves are just too important.

Welp, that's all folks! Hope you enjoyed the read; I'd love any feedback you've got :)

You need 3 lines of descriptions for each pokemon or a mod will lock this thread up.
Anyways, Nice team you got there but there could be some fixing.
Thundurus-T could be a huge problem if he set's up a agility on heatran, jellicent, and skarmory. But this could easily be fixed. Try using a Choice Scarf Terrakion. It helps the weakness of thundurus-T and also can beat volcarona if it has HP ground. You could replace alakzam for it.
Next thing, If your making a sand stall, then hippowdon will be a better choice then tyranitar. It also help's the jirachi weakness.
Sets:
Code:
Hippowdon @ Leftovers
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Slack Off
- Stealth Rock
- Whirlwind

Terrakion @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Justified
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- X-Scissor
- Rock Slide
Hoped i helped!

Definitely try Hippowdon instead of Tyranitar. It may not be as much as a tank as Tyranitar but with reliable recovery and whirlwind, it fits in perfectly on any stall team. Instead of a physically defensive Hippowdon I'd try a specially defensive set.

Hippowdon @ Leftovers
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP
Careful Nature
- Earthquake
- Slack Off
- Stealth Rock
- Whirlwind

You could also try Stoutland instead of Alakazam, since you lack a dragon killer. Here's the set.
508.gif

Stoutland @ Choice Band
Trait: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Return
- Superpower
- Pursuit/Crunch/Ice Fang
- Wild Charge
If you're insistent on keeping Alakazam, I'd experiment with HP ice, considering Garchomp is extremely dangerous to your team.

Thanks guys that was super helpful!
I changed T-tar to Hippowdon and put hidden power ice on Alakazam.
Question:
Can Hidden Power Ice OHKO Thunderous-T after stealth rock?

It does 252 SpA Alakazam Hidden Power Ice vs. 200 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-T: 380-448 (102.98 - 121.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO, unless it's max spD, but you'll never see that

Not rating, but:
The calculator is here(gosh i wish i could hyperlink on a mobile device here): http://pokemonshowdown.com/damagecalc/
As for your question,
252 SpA Alakazam Hidden Power Ice vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Thundurus-T: 190-224 (63.54 - 74.91%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
No. Not an ohko after rocks.
Edit-higglybiggly, he said thundurus-t lol
