We don't know that yet. Because you can only have one megalution in battle it's a possibility that the game "saves" the evolution when you switch out, to reduce the risk of being vulnerable and obliterated while in your weaker statenot only that but with thick fat he can now take neutral hits from ice and fire. only problem is he can not switch in as mega he has to do that later...
Im fairly sure that currently all GF does is check your Pokemon very carefully to make sure that theyre plausible (If it has egg moves, they check to see whether it came from an egg, etc), so unless something changes, you just need to take care while making your pokemon.Damnit! Even if I use Pokegen and Pokecheck to get these mons a "legit" way (through the GTS)? This seriously blows. And I suck, suck at RNGing

Man just how much more RIGHT can those pokebeach rumors be? They predicted that Sycamore gives you the kanto starters. This is just baffling...how it didn't get the psychic resistance right.
and that right there is what scares me...I think even legit pokeGENed Pokemon are going to get kicked...From Serebii: "The first details about the upcoming X & Y Test Competition has been announced. They have revealed that the competition is to run around December or January as they prepare the system to prevent cheaters from being able to engage in the competitions. The entry requirements for this tournament were for you to have participated and ranked in the recent 2013 Global Showdown which included a test of these features and banned around 1,500 participants due to using cheated Pokémon. We'll bring more as it comes."

They removed Chlorophyll and if you go Mega Venusaur gl working in a sun and while Venusaur can be tanky with this it's typing may screw it over.
There is no way to distinguish a legal hack from a legitimate Pokemon caught/bred on your own game... that's why they're known as legal hacks.
You know you can change forms anytime? So you can switch to MEGAsaur if you need to tank a fire or ice move.
Actually it's very easy to....if you look at the internal data structure, there are bits that are off or neglected, and replaced by values that cannot be obtained in-game.
But there is no way to detect RNG'd pokemon.
Please, you need to get a clue before posting stuff like this. I'll reiterate my prior point. There is no difference.
It's your opinion. And I'm sure that certainly has a clue...that's much more obvious than mine. The people here at smogon that research pokemon data structure can tell you better than I can.
So then it will please you to know that I regularly converse with such researchers, and am rather well informed myself, more so than yourself.

Any proof to back that up?
As an ex-hacker I can say with near certainty that there are ways to make a hacked Pokemon appear legitimate to even the best legality checkers. For example, in my late hacking days, I would not simply generate a Pokemon out of thin air, but rather, I'd modify a Pokemon I obtained legally, making sure I used the same PID method the game used to generate the Pokemon. (not sure how necessary that was but it seemed to help) Modifying a legal Pokemon was especially helpful for nicknamed Pokemon since I wouldn't have to worry about incorrect trash bytes in the nickname; the trash bytes would already be correct as long as I didn't mess with the nickname.
Because it's stupidly easy to make trashbytes legal.
Again, can you say with certainty that gamefreak doesn't have an answer for that?
"Hey guys, GameFreak has a way to tell that two Pokémon that have the exact same hex data are different if one of them are hacked". Seems legit.Again, can you say with certainty that gamefreak doesn't have an answer for that?
