Reposting another question.. again:

I plan on using the flinch haxing Togekiss mentioned in the Analysis, but the EV spread isn't clear. They just mention to max out his HP, but don't give many other indications. They say you can just boost his Sp Atk with Nasty Plot, so EVs aren't needed, but the one I plan on using won't have Nasty Plot, so should I invest EVs into Sp Atk? Or should I still focus on HP, Def and Sp Def, and if so, what proportions? Max HP, then split evenly, or emphasis on Sp Def, or what?

Thanks in advance

Bagon w/ Wish, I think you can only get from an event. Either that or the crappy Gamecube game Pokemon Box after storing enough pokemon in there.

There isn't a set EV spread that you "have" to use. It depends on what you want togekiss to do better. If you want it to hit harder, put EVs in special attack, or if you just want it to take hits, put them in the defenses of your choice. It's up to your own preferences on what you want it to do.

Make a team, post an RMT. You can't suggest stuff based on a single poke in most cases.

Ah right, should have expected those kinds of answers: I want it to be able to take special hits well, spread Thunder Wave around and provide Wish support for most of the match, then if its still around being a late game cleaner would be nice.

So maxing HP is mandatory, and considering that I have plenty of other physical walls, putting EVs in Defense isn't necessary for me. So for the reminaing EVs, should I dump them all into Special Defense to make it incredibly beefy, or split them between Special Defense and Special Attack?

And I would post an RMT, but I feel like the team is still too incomplete to be posted.

for the new Ev items like power ankle

they are supposed to give you 4 Ev's of a specific stat after you battle,

will this double from the effect of pokerus?

It works like this: 1, 2, or 3 (depending on the pokemon) + 4(power item), then multiplied by 2 (pokerus). Zubat would give 10 EVs, Golbat 12, and Crobat 14.

ahah i c, okay so lets say i kill a raticate for speed which would give 2, so 2+4 times 2 from the effect of pokerus woudl give 12 :o ??

Would it be possible to breed two PBR Pikachus and make a ton of Volt Tackle Surf Pichus?

Is there any way to insure that when you Pal Park a pokemon that got a new ability in D/P (like the very useful Magic Guard Clefable) it will get the new ability as opposed to keeping the one that was there in RSE before?

No, since Surf isn't an egg move and besides, all PBR Pikachu are Hardy and female, no lesbian breeding :P

And there is no way to ensure it'll get its new ability in DP, you just have to hope. You can ensure that it'll keep its old one for some Pokemon if you evolve it fully in the 3rd gen, but for some like Porygon-Z and Rhyperior, this obviously doesn't work.

When you use Knock Off, does the item stay off for the whole battle? Or when the opponent switches out they regain use of the item?
