I think that actually raises the question- do Mega Evolutions revert back to their usual state when switched out?
That has no bearing on EVs. A lvl 32 Lucario leveled up from lvl 5 as Riolu would have the same amount of EVs as Bulbasaur --> Venasuar.
Besides, those stats (assuming the defensive ones stay the same, which from the screenshot it seems they do) give Mega Lucario a BST of 610 - which is in line with Mega Venasuar / what was said about them being pseudo legendaries. So you can maybe subtract 5 from my numbers but they should be pretty accurate
Some would benefit from each way. Mawile would love to be able to intimidate multiple times, however Absol and Charizard would benefit from staying Mega Evolved on the switch.
There is a possiblity that the poster used vitamins to speed up happiness. Still, I guess it's not as different as I thought.
Not necessarily- I've often fed every vitamin I've found in-game to any Zubat or Togepi I was raising in an effort to accelerate evolution.
They do not. They only revert after battle. This was confirmed multiple times in the other thread.

Also, the stats ALMOST make up for Life Orb. So it is going to hit like a truck with Adaptability.
so this does actually mean that mega charizard x will be viable as long as you lead with it and and mega evolve. hmm...interesting. Not that I would use charizard, but some people will. good to know.

I'm a little worried about something. The first leaker on instagram, Koethedin, said he visited 6 towns/cities and only got 1 gym badge. He said the story revolve more on the mystery of mega evolutions. Does this mean gym badges aren't really important anymore? http://instagram.com/p/e_Cf9hIrQr/#

Absol is available at level 15? Between it and Snorlax, there seems to be no shortage of ridiculously powerful Pokemon early game.

Nintendo flew a representative out this afternoon and went to the local game shop where I picked up X. The Nintendo rep had said heads were rolling at Nintendo because of the leaks. I gave up my copy of the game to try and help keep the local game shop out of trouble and to keep my friend from losing his job.
He also said that which really doesn't sound true at all. I dont know what to believe to be honest.

Honestly, that sounds really cool. The story's been going that way for a while now anyway, with the quest to the Elite Four becoming more and more of a "requisite side game" feature since Ruby and Sapphire.

Kinda surprised Carbink doesn't evolve, though. That thing does not look like a final evolution, if you ask me. Unless it's a standalone, in which case I could see it...
Thank goodness. If anyone has forgotten or missed my rants, I am soooo tired of everything being about gyms. Visiting 6 cities and having one badge suggests you can choose where to go a bit.

I think I'll let this speak for itself. The only thing that can switch into something this OP are probably ghosts (and maybe Gardevoir's megaevo if there is one), and it might be a good thing that they got a big boost this gen.

Why do you make the assumption there are only 150 in each dex? There could be more after it. Either way, that would put us at 450 in the regional dex, which is pretty damn impressive.
I expect there will be a lot more Gen 6 Pokemon in the third dex, with the first two helping add to the nostalgic feel of the game, and assuming 150 per dex, help fit in with the "Gotta Catch 'Em All" throwback to Gen 1.
