Which would mean you're still basically gaining about 250% extra EXP you wouldn't otherwise - still a lot, but more in lines with what I was expecting.

I am really excited to see how difficult the game might be without it.

If it really is 100% for everyone, then Nuzlocke might not even need to be a thing anymore, comparatively.

It's 100% for everyone that battles and 50% for the rest of the team. This was discussed way back in this thread, though I don't remember exactly how far back

Good to know. I can't see how this difference can affect much the game. And seeing this badass mewtwo transformation is worth the 'loss' of Def and SpA

I signed up for SA and confirmed for myself. What's really interesting to me is people are saying that putting a Lucky Egg (easily obtainable early on) on your lead multiplies the Exp. for everyone. Which means we're seeing as much as +425% extra EXP inflation off of a single fight. The preceding was specifically denied just now. While being overleveled does reduce your experience, the impact of this is lessened the higher up you go... so... the game's difficulty should swing a *lot* depending on whether or not you use LE+Exp. Share or not. And that really excites me.

I know, I think I'll use it the first time through on Y. Then when I begin to trade over to my X and build a more diverse team with a better feel for this gen, I'll turn it off
 
I'm gonna keep it off just to see how quickly the levels outpace me

Level 63s e4 round 1 sounds intriguing in this light
 
I wish the Gym Leaders' mons levels are set according to your mons levels so that winning via grinding is not plausible. Also increases the game's difficulty a bit.

Given the huge spread of XP inflation, I think I'm going to do the same and only turn it on if I find myself significantly behind the game and unable to keep up.

I know that but its just sylveon gets one every other new evolution is just mega :/

If it was like gen 4 where after you got the national dex all the evolutions were revealed like,
magmotar and togekiss came but this gen seems like none of that will happen again

Arrrrgh.... I want to watch, but I also really don't want to watch.... Saving that till Saturday. Spoiling myself with the data and Pokemon, but not story and such. Dang you temptation.

Reminds me of when I fought Cynthia in Diamond with my lv46-48 team. Good times... but seriously, I'm going to abuse that Exp Share so much.
