Maybe they got rid of the damage reduction for hitting multiple targets, and all of the newly debuffed 110 BP moves now hit all foes?

Has anyone tested how many targets Hurricane, Thunder, and Fire Blast hit?

It's also one of the very few moves that had 120 power with perfect accuracy, not like the stat drops matter when you can switch out anyway.
Still highly impractical, if you noticed all except Fire Blast had 100% accuracy under weather, and 85% accuracy isn't that bad.

It's doesn't make any sense for GF to do it in terms of their VGC meta and the nerf isn't needed at all.

We're seeing a lot of Special moves get adjusted. We should ask about all the high-profile special moves to make sure. notably Shadow Ball, Dark Pulse, Flash Cannon, Energy Ball, Power Gem, etc

Uhh no please? Unlike the moves that had been nerfed CC gives a NEGATIVE effect, not a positive one. It would be dumb to nerf it.
It also doesn't miss, and has incredible SE coverage.
There's a reason Close Combat, despite its drops, is used on almost everything that learns it.

Weather, which can change in an instant, and is getting nerfed as well?
Even a 120bp move with 85% accuracy is equivelant to 102bp in the grand scheme of things. Nerfed Close Combat would still be, on average, more powerful than un-nerfed Fire Blast.

Are we sure on the Mega Aerodactyl stats? Because in a previous post it was stated that the diference between a pokemon's BST and its mega's is 100, and according to the current calculated stats, the difference is:

Mega Aerodactyl: 80/120/80/75/80/150 BST 585

Aerodactyl: 80/105/65/60/75/130 BST 515

A difference of 70 between the BST's. Could the current calculation be wrong?

Regards

Saw a German screenshot with Yveltal's movepool, it contained Dark Pulse and that was the same as it ever was.

Although I'm curious if a similar technique with Night Daze has been modified...

I know this is probably "old" news but Hidden Power is now always a 60 based Power move?

Man, they could've made it 70...
DW Roserade, of all things, will love it though.

It could just display the BP of the Hidden Power, but we'd need more samples to be sure. But fixing the BP to 60 would definitely make room for a Fairy type one with IV combinations.
I think It'd be nice if it wasn't even based on IVs, but rather had its own bit and a way to change it.

Well, I really hated the direction they took Fire Blast in, art-wise, and I don't use Thunder except on Galvantula... so I'm cool with this.

I choose my teams based on appearance. I think I was made for Team Flare.

In all honesty, I don't think the BP loss is going to be very noticeable for anything except Thunder, which had absurdly wide distribution off-type and is fantastic coverage. But I'm curious to see what other moves they've adjusted, and I'm going to guess all bets are off for 100+ Pow moves, which I've already felt there were too many of lately.

All that was laziness to create a Hidden Power Fairy...

You call it laziness, I call it "oh, I have better than a snowball's chance in Hell that I'll actually be able to use Hidden Power effectively on a random Pokemon I just picked up."
