Hi guys, this is my first ever RMT on smogon as I joined today so thanks to every one in advance who helps so let's start :)

68.gif

Machamp (M) @ Fist Plate
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- DynamicPunch
- Stone Edge
- Bullet Punch
- Payback

This is my main lead and the one I named the team after, he most of the time gets me a breakthrough and at least defeats 2 pokemon before it is KOed. Vacuum Wave is what I chose over Bullet Punch so my team does not face problems with Cloysters.

461.gif

Weavile (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Night Slash
- Low Kick
- Ice Punch

This is my Setup killer as it has a very high speed and usually is faster than others and only Vaporeon can usually beat it

130.gif

Gyarados (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang

The set explains itself that this is a monster after a DD. Life Orb for even more power and moxie makes it better after each kill

647.gif

Keldeo @ Choice Specs
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 Atk
Hasty Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 SAtk
- Hydro Pump
- Secret Sword
- HP Electric
- Icy Wind

This is my special attacker and I am not very sure about him

65.gif

Alakazam (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Psychic
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast

It is self explanatory that I calm mind and then sweep and Magic Guard is so rocks and stuff don't break my sash

381.gif

Latios @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Dragon Pulse
- Psyshock
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Energy Ball

My late game sweeper when others have there sweepers and scarfs dead, my Latios can come and perform a sweep

This is all I have won 43 out of 50 fights with this team but any help would be appreciated to make it perfect just keep in mind that I prefer going all out attack and as I am new can you tell me how to make my RMTs with sprites of pokemon. Thanks

Well, the best way to get better is to improve your team, go battle and see what other problems you have, then improve it again and keep going. Experience is the best way to learn, so i'll try explaining everything wrong and how to fix it.

Machamp has a very low Special Attack, meaning Vacuum Wave will do almost nothing, I understand you want priority, but going off a very low stat like that is definitely not worth it. Try Bullet Punch even if Cloyster will become a problem, that's what teammates are for. This frees you up to choose an Adamant nature and place the other 4 EVs into defenses. The main problem though is that Machamp is outclassed. If you want a sweeper, try Swords Dance Breloom. It keeps Fighting STAB priority, can put things to sleep, and use an extremelly powerful Swords Dance boosted Bullet Punch. (I'll put the sets for everything I recommend at the bottom of this)

Weavile in OU is best used as either a Pursuit trapper and/or revenge killer. It can also be a sweeper like Breloom, and they both can form a decent offensive corr, but having 2 frail SD sweepers can be a problem, so i'll give you the best sets for both.

Gyarados is fine. Ice Fang seems a bit redundant though, so consider changing it. You do not need Life Orb, so change it to Leftovers or a Lum Berry.

Keldeo has some major problems. You are using Bounce, which should never be used apart from on Gyarados sometimes. Keldeo has a very small movepool, but this doesn't mean use both Fighting STABs, unless you really, really want to for some reason. I think this Keldeo would do better as a wallbreaker or revenge killer, so change it to Choice Specs or Scarf based on which one you want. Making it Scarf means you can make Latios Specs, so I'll just assume you make it Scarf. Also, make sure you check your Pokemon's IVs, then make Keldeo Timid.

With Latios and Keldeo, Alakazam diesn't have much if a purpose, so we can replace him altogether. Havng a free teamslot allows you to have at least 1 wall. I know you want to be offensive but you do need some support. I think a Ferrothorn could work well, providing a hazard and Thunder Wave support, and it actually does have decent attack with 2 powerful STAB moves to choose from.

As I said make Latios Choice Specs. I'll put the moves in the sets below along with the other sets, and after you make the changes you want edit a little more into your descriptions. JUST SO THE MODS DO NOT LOCK YOUR THREAD EDIT A FEW MORE LINES INTO EACH DESCRIPTION NO MATTER WHAT.

Oh thanks for the great help and can you tell me how to add sprites in my RMTs and sure I will change lines as I get suggestions and btw Breloom does not learn Bullet Punch

I'm guessing he meant Mach Punch. Anyway, you can't have two Hidden Powers on one poke. For the pics, find a pic of the poke online (either here or Serebii or other RMTs) and click Copy Image Location. Then click on the picture in Editor and paste it.

Umm if that was supposed to be mach punch then I am left with 3 moves for Breloom. What would fill it up goodly? I currently think to use Stone Edge.

Stone Edge isn't as good as you think, because if you SD as the opponent switches into a 50% Mence, Mach Punch will just finish it off anyway. Stone Edge doesn't have the priority, and Breloom will die to any move Mence has, unless the opponent completely screws up and EQs

Okay thanks alot

Machamp has a very low Special Attack, meaning Vacuum Wave will do almost nothing
0 SpA Machamp Vacuum Wave vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Cloyster: 116-138 (47.93 - 57.02%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

DON'T DIS THE VACUUM WAVE

But seriously, don't use it

Just a small thing, I think CM alakazam isn't very useful with focus sash and no recover, because many things will outspeed you with a scarf and OHKO you. I would suggest a HP, either Fire or Ice depending on if you want to hit Scizor or Dragons harder. IMO, use HP Fire instead of Calm Mind, as your team is a bit weak to Scizor. On Latios, you should probably use Draco Meteor over Dragon pulse for more immediate power, as it is mainly a revenge killer, and trick over Energy ball. Don't use Focus Sash on weavile, as you have no spinner. As it is rather frail, I think a better choice would be Life Orb on Weavile. I notice that your team has a big weakness to Scizor, as it can deal with half your team. Having Intimidate on Gyarados would be really helpful for this, but not necessary. Good luck with the team!

Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it. The standard description length required is three to four lines, if you need more insight look on the detail part, check out the RMT Archive.

Your descriptions aren't good enough. PM me your updated descriptions and I'll unlock this thread.
