You can catch it while walking (from what I heard), but its much faster to let your other Pokemon catch it by battling. There's a higher chance it'll catch it after the battle. You can tell if you can't spread it nomore by the happy face right by it, but it still has the effects of it.

There is a 25% chance it will spread to an adjacent Pokemon after each battle.

No. Only for rocks by 1.5 special defense.

I know this may not help but you need to beat some colleseums, at least thats all I have done and i have it, sry i don't have any more less obvious info.


As for sandstorm, yes it raises rocks sp def by 1.5 but its does nothing for steel/ground except not cause damage.

Well, there's a downer. If a pokemon has hyper cutter, and uses swords dance, they will still lose the stats from a Haze, correct?
