Not to seem impatient, but I'm curious if there's an ETA on the Mac OS X version? I'd like to help out checking SVs, but all my devices are either OS X or iOS. I might be able to find someone from whom I can borrow an old Windows PC, but if an OS X version is nearly completed, then I might not bother temporarily borrowing someone else's old machine.

Which I think means parts of the program aren't able to open, but I'm not completely sure. I would really like to figure this out because this works on a totally different laptop, but not this one, and this one is my main one.

I always get this error message:
Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component.
Followed by "Virtual Router Plus could not be started". I need help.

I'm still having a problem - "VirtualRouterPlus has stopped working"
basically, i have downloaded everything, all of those 3 links! I have installed/extracted all of them and restarted my computer (in different orders after multiple tries), multiple times. I still get the error.
I have windows Vista, An ethernet cable and a wireless dongle/usb.
I have tried every solution i could find in this thread, none of them work.
"I have a fix to the "Virtual Router Plus could not be started." problem.
First you open up cmd with admin privileges.
Then put in "netsh wlan set hostednetwork allow"
After that put in "netsh wlan start hostednetwork"
I think the problem was that Microsoft Hosted Network Virtual Adapter is
not setup by default or something."
"I have found the solution to "Virtualrouterplus has stopped working." You need to turn on your WLAN service. To do this, simply:
Windows 7
Go to Start, Search, and type in services.msc
Go down to WLAN Auto Config, double click it to open
Under Startup Type, select Automatic
Under Service Status, Click the Start button"
i have tried finding/download the Virtual Wifi Miniport and have found absolutely nothing
I have opened CMD as Administrator multiple times, typed in everything thats been said in this thread and nothings work apart from the "show drivers" one, and when i do "show drivers", the only thing thats missing from the list is the part that says Hosted Network Support, i don't have that. could that be my problem?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news my dear, but getting an error on CMD line "netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow" means your network card does not support hosted networks. It would be worth it to updated/reinstall your NIC driver, but if that fails you'll need a new card.
You need a computer with a wireless network card that supports hosted networks.
I have not seen that one. For the sake of troubleshooting can I have you restart your computer. Then reload the program **note: do not start the actually SCAN before your 3DS is connected to the network)
What loads forever? The program on your computer? Or the trade on the 3ds? If the program on the computer remains blank I believe it's because the virtual adapter isn't installed correctly. Someone on page 2 or 3 found a fix for that.
