Instacheck Hotspot -- a fast Pokémon checker for XY

so this is my second post, and i tried doing what was suggested but i keep getting the message

The dependency service or group failed to start. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007042C)
 
Keep getting "The group or resource is not in the correct state to perform the requested operation". Hosted network supported also keeps coming up as no, and I just updated drivers.

Okay I did some research and I found out that other things on my computer were getting that error, namely Windows Firewall. I had to restart Base Filtering Engine, and after many painstaking hours I finally flat out reinstalled it.

He had the same problem yesterday. You could try what he did. It seems to be a problem related to Windows Firewall.

If it's still saying you can't support hosted networks after upgrading to the latest drivers then your card won't work for this
 
Can anyone check my 8 flawless eggs + what I have in party at the time you respond? Let me know! Thanks, will give a free spit back to who ever helps!

It's more than just "restarting", I should warn you. Try the instructions here. If that doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you other than downloading a replacement BFE. Also I haven't had more success after replacing it, but I AM getting different errors than that one.

Is there no way to rectify the issue, then?

I doubt it. Uhm. I'm not sure if this'll list anything, but in your Event Viewer, under the Custom views, are there any administrative or summary page events that correspond to the time that instacheck stopped working?
Because at this point, I have no idea at all why it's stopping.
 
Somebody please help! I have gone through the installation of Intel WiFi Manager for this and now the button above "Start Scanning" contains no options.

You need to reinstall your WinPCap, it wasn't installed correctly.
Try this:
Go to C/D/Whichever drive you use->Windows-> SysWOW64-> Find and delete/rename "wpcap.dll" and "packet.dll"
Reinstall WinPCap
 
I just came back to try again and now I am getting the "the group or resource" error again. :[
Just feels like i'm getting further away.

Edit: Finished post. Tried instacheck - it's working again. Sometimes I feel like it's just messing with me.

How much would such a thing run me? I also have a netbook that needs checking for this, don't have it on me at the moment unfortunately.
 
So I'm back to step one. I can't connect to the virtual router Instacheck puts up. It just doesn't connect.
I tried with and without my firewall and such. It won't connect.
Anyone got any more ideas?

Ikr? I just spent half an hour trying to figure out why instacheck suddenly stopped working for me. Restarted and poof, it was fine again.

If it helps, whenever am connecting to the virtual router, my 3DS tells me in the top left corner that I have 3 bars and internet. Does that mean anything? I just thought it was weird that it would say I was connected with internet if Instacheck is the only access point I have registered and its not working.

Okay so i just did what i was suggested, but it didnt work, im using a netgear wna1100 adapter btw if thats not something good to use, i disconnected my wifi and my adapter form the internet, and only my ethernet was connected to the internet, and from there, wc, and wc 3 were red x bc they were not connected, but had green bars to show that connection is there or possible? anyway, i did the 3ds process like usual but it didnt work, my wireless connection 3 is my netgear adapter, 2 is the hotspot the numberless one is home i guess, it says qualcomm atheros/wifiadapter, sigh...i dont think this is meant to work for everyone
