Hello im have this problem:

every time I try to run the Instacheck always say "The method or operation is not implemented."
Im using a laptop Acer Aspire 4352
My Hosted Network is on
Pls Help

What is your Win 7 Version

Basic and Starter cannot be used with Instacheck. It has to be at least Home Premium.

Yeah, yesterday i had the same problem, but then after some try the connection appeared by itself in the list of the access points. Then, before going to sleep i closed the Instacheck program and all and i deplugged the Router, like i always do when i sleep. Today i replugged the router, and did exactly what i did yesterday, but the Instacheck Hotspot just wont show on my 3DS, no matter how hard i try.
But were you able to connect to the internet in game and scan with numbers showing up? Are your connection settings similar to this one, or are you only using wireless? beforestartinginstacheck.png

Soo I passed the internet connection check and in the OS it shows me as being connected, but when I try to connect in game in takes forever and eventually comes up with an error.

the code is 003-1101 if that helps.

I had Instacheck Hotspot working before. Got two shiny Goomys. But now it won't work. At all. I tried both LAN and wireless, and it works on my computer, but my DS won't connect. I've tried deleting the connection and remaking it, but to no avail, it solved nothing.
Any ideas on what I can do?

I gave up trying to get Instacheck to work on my PC. Also, I tried registering my FC and Shiny ID on the database. How long before it shows up on the list? How often is it updated?

I'm pretty sure connecting that slow is normal. Have you tried stopping the hotspot and running it just before you're about to go on?
Is there a difference between windows 7 and windows 7 "starter"
There's Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium, Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate. Starter doesn't support internet sharing using a hotspot, but I believe all the other ones are fine. If you want to check which one you have you can right mouse click Computer from your start menu and go to properties. It should say which Windows edition you have there.

Hmm, I've got Windows 7 Home Premium. Have no idea why it won't work, as I've tried everything that was listed in the "Troubleshooting" section. So I just gave up.

What error were you getting? I'm not sure how to fix connection test errors (aside from maybe disabling your firewall), but I think I can try helping with anything else. :S

I have a laptop with windows vista home premium (6.0) and PC with windows 7 home premium, neither will run it. The laptop wont let me start instacheck, and the PC wont start the hotspot. Both say something about virtual router. :/

I think I will try updating the NIC on the laptop, as the CMD thing didn't work.

Gosh I don't recall exactly. But whenever I tried to open the .exe file I would get an error right away and not open. I did all the pre-requisite downloading that was required but still nothing.

Oo. Did you try going to Services.msc from the start/search menu and making sure that WLAN AutoConfig is set to Automatic and has started?

Your laptop won't run it because it's not supported in Vista. Does your PC have a wireless adapter/usb?

Oh, but I thought the original post said "A computer running Windows Vista or later (XP has not been tested)"

I don't think the PC has wireless. :\ Is there a way to check?

Working perfectly ^_^ Good job guys

Also, how long does it take for the submission of FC, Shiny ID etc. to come up on google docs? (Yes, i used the new link)

Yeah, I'm asking the OP about that, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't work in Vista.
On your pc, type this into cmd (run as administrator) and let me know what you get. netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow
Ok, I got it to open now, but when I try to get it going, I get this error.
"The group or resource is not in the correct state to perform the requested operation"
Type the same thing ^ and also check to make sure your wireless is enabled.
