I got a box of ghastly and honedges to check, anyone able to help by chance?

My brothers hotspot isn't working :/

I just got online !
Let me see if I can set mines up quickly -
if you see my me pop up on wifi, then feel free to start trade ! * U *
I don't need anything checked, so just disconnect when you're completed on your side !

Out of curiosity, does Instacheck work on eggs that are a result of the "Masuda Method"? Are those eggs somehow different than eggs from Pokémon from the same region?

All my eggs are Masuda Method eggs, so yes, they work !
they don't differ in any way ~ * U *

Sorry if i insist, but i think you forgot me XP i know, you look very busy and im grateful for what you're doing, but if ill be able to start the instacheck again i will be able to help other people too.
No, I'm really not that good with technical things lol. I've been googling Rhaspodia's thing. I'm not sure what else to try for you.
edit: ideally, you should be using an ethernet cable and leaving your wireless connection free, but if you said it was working yesterday, that shouldn't be a problem. If you have an ethernet cable and can try with that, try it.

I update my windows to windows Ultimate 7 and now i got this message
"Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component."
and
"(Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070425)"

My hosted net and wireless are enabled.

pls help
Are your wireless drivers up to date? I think .net Framework 3.5 is included with Windows 7 Ultimate, but did you install 4.5? I'm not sure what to do with that error

Unfortunately, i cant. But do i need to keep the main connection as free as possible? Could it be that it doesnt show up because its too busy?

I highly doubt it, since mine's is pretty much busy all the time -I have two other laptops connected to the TV and a million iPads and desktops going on, but that didn't seem to affect it !
I'm going to read through your old posts and see if I can figure something out ~

There we go. I updated my laptop from vista to 7 home premium x32, and now it WORKS:D So it defo something with vista if it keeps crashing i guess :)

Thanks, that would be great.

If your having problems try...

Run all the updates on your system so you know you have the latest net framework.
unistall wincap you have, then install it again(makse sure you have the latest version) but make sure to un-tick run at start up.

Then get instacheck. Open up your control panel and click the network & sharing centre. Then run instacheck (do not edit the password/ssid) and see if a new connection starts up. Make a note of the new connection number and select it in the drop down box when it ask you to scan.

Edit: if the instacheck box dont open corectly just close it and try again. It should work on the 3rd go.

I have the "VirtualRouterPlus has stopped working" error that pops up immediately. I've downloaded WinPCap and an updated .NET framework, and I tried the packet.dll deleting thing, but that did nothing. If I check under my connections, there's still only one option for Local Area Connection.

Are you on Windows vista?

Hey just wondering if I ever do get a match and they decide to do it do you think it would be too much to ask them to Nickname it? since it won't be my ID/SID/OT

Were there any installation problems with winpcap or .net? I believe winpcap is responsible for sniffing through the data, so if nothing is being scanned that's possibly the problem.

WinPCap installs successfully. I was choosing not to run the driver at runtime though. I have .NET 4 installed. I'll try again tonight and see if anything different happens.

Well, well, well, it works now. Thanks for your help!
