Requirements
  • A computer running Windows Vista or later (XP has not been tested)
  • The computer must have an internet connection, and have a wi-fi connection not being used for internet. (A laptop with a wired connection not using its wi-fi adapter should work.)
  • WinPCap must be installed.
  • Microsoft .NET 3.5 or later must be installed. (You probably already have this if you're running Windows 7. If you've used RNG Reporter on your computer before, you definitely already have this.)

Unless you specifically purchased a wieless network card, our desktop most likely does not have wireless connectivity. Just to be safe, click the start button and in you search box type "NCPA.CPL" and click the seach result to open it. Then look and tell me the names to all the connections you see. Are any of them named "Wireless Network Connection"?

You're going to need a Wireless Card or an Adapter as a Router won't cut it really, it has to DIRECTLY Capture the Data from said Adapter, a Router is as it is, a Router that provides you internet whereas the Adapter will directly connect your 3DS to your PC and therefor will Capture the Data

I only have Local Area Connection and Tunngle in there. Don't see Wireless Network Connection. :(

Okay you need to buy a Wireless Network Card that works in your desktop and will work with your motherboard. They're relatively cheap (Anywhere from $5-$30 USD). Unless you buy that, you cannot use Instacheck. I'm sorry. :(

Also, just for clarity, be sure to seek professional help when purchasing a Wireless cad so that you are sure the card fits and works with your motherboard/operating system. :)
