Me and chameleonskyes will be doing this. We'll be talking about all the art that was made for articles that were ultimately shelved.

What would you ultimately discuss about it, though? I mean sure it'd be cool to rate art from shelved articles but I feel like a gallery of some sort on-site would maybe be cooler, because I have a feeling you guys might run out of stuff to talk about. You can't really discuss the shelved articles so ultimately all you'd be doing is rating it from an artistic perspective. It's more Bummer's area but if it's okay, I feel like if you're discussing art in particular, maybe a more artistic background would be more appropriate to be able to properly talk about something. chameleonskyes definitely has artistic experience, but as opposed to JAP I feel like this'd be more suited to people with actual artistic experience to discuss the artistic conventions and such.

I felt the same about this. It's great that art that would otherwise not make it into an issue still gets a chance in this manner, although apart from speaking of the qualities for each individual image, I'm unsure what the message or conclusion would be (apart from writers should make certain that their work is done).

I suppose I could make this a part of a Smeargle Studio update, seeing as we have some new artists to feature (chameleonskyes one of them), and there's also the Secret Santa and Facebook project that's brewing right now. Granted, I don't know just how many images there are that never got to see the light of release, but it feels more manageable to include them in a SS update as opposed to giving them an article of their own.

Edit: I would like to emphasize that one doesn't need artistic talents and/or education to judge pictures. It helps, but it's no requirement. I don't know Mack's experience with that task though, so sky's reluctance is understandable.
