Instacheck Hotspot -- a fast Pokémon checker for XY

I made an account just to ask this. I'm trying to run this on my laptop and I've got an Ethernet plugged in and I've got a wireless open. I've done everything right in the tutorial but I keep getting this error when I press "Start Hotspot."

"An operation is blocked waiting for an oplock. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800702FD)"

I've not a clue how to fix it.

Does your laptop have a spare wifi adaptor?
I found a way to fix these issues was to

A. Open the command prompt (type cmd into the start menus search bar)
B. Type: netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow. then press enter.
C. Type in NCPA.CPL into the command prompt.
D. Right click on your Spare adaptor (the one not connected to anything.)
E. Click properties, then click the sharing tab.
F. Check the box that says "allow other users to connect to this network"
G. Where it says "select a private network." Set that to Local area connection (aka your ethernet cable) Make sure you confirm this choice with the Ok button before trying the next steps, otherwise it wont have updated.
H. Open instacheck and set the shared connection to Local Area connection. Name the hotspot and set the password then click start hotspot.
I. If you check the NPCA.CPL window again, it should say that your hotspot is connected to the wifi adaptor also.

After this you need to head to connection settings on the DS. Make sure the hotspot is connection 1 otherwise your DS will try to connect to the home network and it will not work. Keep in mind should the DS disconnect from the hotspot for any reason (The ds itself not pokemon) You will need to completely stop and restart the hotspot. If you're still having troubles after trying this Pm me here and I can try set it up for you with team viewer.

No it is not. The need to disable and restart the hotspot is just a problem within the coding somewhere. If the Ds disconnects for any reason at all you do need to completely restart the hotspot. As for the disconnects I am unsure on the regular timing and why that is happening. Try reading the trouble shooting that is at the start of this thread. You may possibly have missed a step such as typing in netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow into the command prompt or something similar.
 
Not to seem impatient, but I'm curious if there's an ETA on the Mac OS X version? I'd like to help out checking SVs, but all my devices are either OS X or iOS. I'm not going to buy Windows and partition my hard drive just for this.

If you need help checking your stuff right now. I can help. No idea on the Mac version though.

This group should be blacklisted, there is a potential risk of shiny lost and the admins don't care there.

yeah I'm in that group and I have your same worry. Though that particular admin gets on my nerves. He banned a friend of mine for supposedly stealing and I was WITH my friend and he didn't do anything, also, the guy insulted my friend for no reason at all. I hate him

Did you install Wincap? The other link at the start of this thread. it seems to be a problem with the net framework from what I can make out though. Try backdating your computer to an earlier net framework setting, or updating to the latest version available.

You can find your framework updates by going through.

Start menu/control panel/System and Security/Windows update. The microsoft net framework updates are usually found under important updates I believe.

he did it very quickly, cause that what I've been told and it still happened. I have uninstalled winpcap and deleted instacheck and it still displays it like that. I don't know why :/ it didn't at the start but now it does and won't stop. Plus it doesn't do it for me

That is a puzzle then. Hrm.. and you have tried reinstalling instacheck? Run through all the steps on the troubleshooting guide at the start of this thread? It took me ages to get it working correctly. But I have not run into that issue yet.

I got it to work in the end WinPcap was the missing link :) now to find someone with a shiny value of 1574.

Try the Shiny Hatcher Database. Thread can be found here on Smogon. They have a massive spread sheet with a list of trainers and shiny values, and ways to contact them. I had someone from there hatch my 31/0/31/31/31/31 noibat. Most of the people on the list are fairly nice. The scammers get reported and removed from the list, or a warning gets added to their name for all to see.
 
I apologize for asking about this again, but I really need help with this... I forgot when I put my email for my contact info on the Google spreadsheet with our TSVs that my email is incredibly slow at receiving new mail, so over these past few days I've been getting tons of emails from a long time ago asking me to hatch eggs for people. I don't want to inconvenience any more people than I already have, so I've been trying to find a way to edit my contact info to take off my email, but nothing has worked. Also, I didn't get Instacheck working until after I filled out the document, so that part also needs to be fixed. Does anyone know how I can edit this stuff in the spreadsheet?
 
I'm unsure if this is the area I should ask, but who do I get in touch with to edit the spreadsheet information? It seems to list my information twice. Thank you.
