Hey guys! I'm starting to use this team on Pokemon Showdown and it's the best team I used so far. I want this team better so I can reach high teir, so that's where you come in. Note that some things I have used are weird, but effective, so I won't be changing some things unless you really compell me. Also note that I'm new, so some just might not make any sense at all, until I change this coming from you. I actually have two different leads. The first one is:
Galvantula@ Focus Sash
Ability:Unnerve
252 Spe/252 SpA/4 Spd (+Spe,-Atk)
-Sticky Web
-Volt Switch
-Bug Buzz
-Hidden Power (Water)
Sticky Web user. Galvantula used to replace Smeargle due to its lack variety after setting everything. Although lack of spikes or stealth rock, it still has access to hidden power water to hurt ground types in situations of need, and Bug Buzz and Volt Switch to add a larger variety. The reason I added Focus Sash is because I find the pokemon quite frail. Luckily, it outspeeds most ground types, so it could pull of another move. I'm also lucky that no decent fire types except Talonflame which I can either sacrifice Galvantula setting Sticky Web, or Volt Switch.
Clawitzer@Chesto Berry Life Orb
Ability:Mega Launcher
252 SpA/252 HP/4 Atk (+Spa,-Atk)
-Aqua Jet
-Aura Sphere
-Dark Pulse
-Dragon Pulse
Here's another lead, but it doesn't have spikes, stealth, or the web. The reason it deserves this spot is because it messes up the "counters" againist what they predict is the lead such as ghost types. The great movepool+Mega Launcher can really mess troll stradegies such Trevenant. Although, electric types really do kill this thing. The only thing I can hope for is switching in, and hoping the pokemon doesn't pull of Toxic. Speaking of Trevenant, the next one is...
EDIT:Life Orb has working great sweeping anything has a weakness in its movepool, so I think I found the right item for it.
Trevenant@ Sitrus Berry
Ability:Harvest
252 SpD/252 HP/4 Spe (+Spd,-Atk)
-Protect
-Substitute
-Will-O-Wisp Horn Leech
-Leech Seed
Well... This can be annoying. I orginally used Stallscor, but the ice weakness hurts it WAY more then Trevenant. It's simple. Leech Seed, Protect, Substitute, Will-O-Wisp, troll. The thing is really hard to take down. So hard in fact, it took 60 turns for a Roost Dragonite to take this thing down. The Sitrus Berry+Harvest doesn't help any team. It could also counter any Smeargle in exsistance with it's typing, making smeargle a sacrifice, and switch in for a better pokemon.
Rotom-Wash@Leftovers Chesto Berry
Ability:Levitate
252 Spd/248 HP/8 SpA (+SpA,-Atk)
-Subsitute Rest
-Hydro Pump
-Volt Switch
-Will-O-Wisp
You know Wash Rotom. I use this because it's effective... From other users. I only made this team a day ago, and it's just not my fitting. I never really feal confident using Will-O-Wisp or Substitute, and I never use Volt Switch to my advantage. Hydro Pump can rack up a decent amount of damage, but I usually get countered by Blissey or another bulky pokemon. I'm considering switching it to a Protean Greninja or another OU pokemon that adds more variety. Any replacement suggestions help.
EDIT:I've been using the pokemon more and more, and I discovered a set more to my fitting. It's helping me way more than it ever did.
Chandelure@ Air Ballon
Ability: Infiltraitor
252 SpA/252 HP/4 SpD
-Energy Ball
-Pain Split
-Fire Blast
-Shadow Ball
First off, I'm not changing this pokemon. I find the weirdness to suprise a lot of oppenents. The Air Balloon eliminates Exactadrill and hit with a nice energy ball, which scares slow water types. The great movepool makes it on par with almost every OU except Gengar, Espeon, a few dark types and the occasional Aeigislash (which I haven't seen quite often anymore). It can beat Gengar, though. Why? If it subs, I can hit it hard with the ability Infiltraitor. I don't care what anybody says, Infiltraitor is better than Flash Flare. Who would use a fire type move on it? And if somebody does, it's not going to do much damage.
Kangaskhan@ Kangaskhanite
Ability:Scrappy/Parental Bond
252 Atk/252 HP/4 SpD
-Fake Out
-Power-Up Punch
-Outrage Earthquake
-Sucker Puch
First off, I find Fake Out useful. It can KO low HP pokemon without them doing anything. Especially that Dragonite I mentioned earlier. Sucker Punch is quite useful defeating Mega Gengars and other aggressive pokemon. Power-Up Punch can also be handy if used at the right moment, creating destruction with... Outrage. Look, I'm not sure to replace it with Earthquake or not. It has lingered my mind, but I'm still currently running Outrage. Luckily, the counters of this aren't normally in PS such as Lucario.
So what do you think? I am a newbie, so my stradegies can be off. I know you guys are smart though, so please improve upon this team.
