I know it can be over +63 if you EV train your Pokemon at level 99. IIRC, the IVs count as one point toward the too. So if you add 31 in a flawless stat to those, 63 EVs, that's 93 or 94 I believe.

The largest possible stat gain is 74. This is done by taking a L99 no-EV Impish Shuckle or Steelix, giving it 252 EVs in Defense, then levelling up to L100.
 
Wait, I take that back.

The largest stat gain possible is 75. This is done with the same Shuckle and\or Steelix as above, except with a 29 IV in Defense.
 
Didn't find this answer anywhere but..

I've got 2 cartridges (japanese diamond, english pearl) but only 1 DS and I'd like to trade to myself through the GTS. I put in a lvl 6 bidoof or something and ask for the pokemon I want to trade. When I search for the lvl 6 bidoof on my other cartridge, It's not listed.

Is it not possible to "self-trade" this way? or is it only possible with 2 cartridges from the same region?

Thanks Mario with Lasers, for answering my previous question.

My new question is: I breed a Gible with Dragonite to get Outrage.

I take the Gible with Outrage and want to breed it with my prefered Ditto.

Can a Gible with Outrage pass the move on (when breeding with ditto) to the offspring Gible? Or does it have to be a poke that learns it naturally like Dragonite to be the one to pass it on (Outrage) sucessfully to the offspring Gible?

Also, how the heck do you get Crunch on Garchomp?

Focus Energy raises the Critical Hit domain of the subsequent move (moves?) by 2. That means that normal moves have a 25% chance of a CH after Focus Energy, and high critical hit moves have a 33% chance of a CH after Focus Energy.
 
If my PKMN has PKRUS and doesn't fights, but holds an EXP-Share
-> Does it get Double EVs?

For Example:

My Empoleon Fight VS Wild Gastrodon.
I have Mudkip with EXP-Share and PKRUS.

If my Empoleon defeats Gastrodon -> Empoleon gets 2HP-EVs
How many EVs does Mudkip get?
