Instacheck Hotspot -- a fast Pokémon checker for XY

I hardly ever need help checking. But, I'm happy to help others.

Though right now I'm in a lot of winter weather =)
 
Anyone up for checking some eggs? Need someone to help me check mine so I'm willing to be a trade partner so you can check both mine and your own, just let me know.
 
When I run it I have nothing in this dropdown box, does anyone know how to remedy this/know why this is the case?

Hi guys, not sure if this has been answered before but only MY offer shows up on Instacheck. I have 2 DS' so I do checks with myself. My primary DS is connected to the Instacheck Hotspot (connectify) whereas my 2nd DS is connected to my home network. The problem is that when trading, only my Pokemon's stats show up. The other DS's shows nothing.
 
Everything works fine for me up until I have to connect to internet in Pokemon. Just hangs and eventually gives me the connection error. Any ideas? I even made sure I was getting internet in the 3DS web browser.

Pretty sure you'll need to connect both of your DS's to the hotspot.
 
Idk how I can help you but Connectify worked for me (Virtual Router Plus wasn't working).

Also, I already tried connecting both of them to the same hotspot. But that shouldn't even be the case because I only need one 3DS to view both Pokemon (since they show up in the same screen). It actually stopped showing both stats when I connected my 2nd DS to the same hotspot. If someone could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.
 
well looks like i finally got it to connect. it might have been because i had both my 3ds and laptop (hotspot) in my lap. tried again with 3ds in other room and it connected in pokemon. problem before was the hotspot connection would go in and out.
 
You don't need to connect both 3DS to the hotspot.

"How I get my Instacheck Standalone to "work" if when I stat a scan using the hotspot created by connectify it scans the pokemon that the othe trainer has and shows them on the right side. when I scan using my shared internet (mine is my wireless card) it shows MY pokemon on the right hand side. However, I have to flip flop between scanned connections to be able to see their pokemon then my own."

Ok, for some reason it wont even connect to the hotspot even though the hotspot is running so if someone understands why that is happening let me know. Thanks!

I did but I didn't really get it. I think what you're getting at is that you're using the Instacheck Hotspot AND the Standalone with Connectify? Lemme know if I'm getting it.

Anyway, it started working for me for some strange reason. Maybe I just had to trade with others (online) first.

No, just that if it becomes finicky as you said. You can simply switch between connectify connection and your standard one :)

Oh okay, that's pretty much what I did (switched from Standalone to Virtual Router Plus, back and forth). Thanks!
