Arena: Ref's Mind (I'm pretty sure that this is it below.)
Field Type- Varies
Complexity- Simple-Super IntenseFormat- VariesRestrictions- Varies

The Ref's Mind: The mind is a powerful thing, so its time we used it to maximize the opportunity to have interesting battles! The battlers have somehow found themselves inside the creativity center of the referee, and they are at his mercy! the ref can make anything happen, and controls all aspects! from the arena setting to the accuracy of moves to the color of the pokemon! for example, the first round might be in an volcano, and if a player uses a bug type move twice his opponent will lose 10 energy! the match can be as simple or as intense as the ref wishes. Battlers have fun coping and adapting to what the refs throw at you!

Thanks for reffing.

Scratchet [Saber] (Male)
Nature: Modest (+1 SpA, -1 Atk)
Type: Normal/Fighting
Normal: Normal STAB; +1 BAP on attacks that match dominant arena type after 3 actions. Unable to have Thrash or Outrage disrupted by oncoming damage.
Fighting: Fighting STAB; ignore weight restrictions on Circle Throw, Seismic Toss, Sky Drop, Storm Throw, Submission, and Vital Throw.

Abilities:

Scrappy: (Passive) This Pokemon's Normal and Fighting attacks carry a special signature that can damage Ghosts, even if they have phased out.
Prankster: (Passive) The Pokemon is always prepared for engaging in sneaky tactics and trickery, giving its non-damaging attacks an increase in priority level.
Vital Spirit (DW): (Passive) This Pokemon has a high vitality and alertness making it immune to sleep induced by other Pokemon. Its normal state of sleeplessness makes it take 1 less damage/action from Ghost Curse. If it is put to sleep by a Pokemon with Mold Breaker it will wake up the next action.

Cupra [Charmy] (M)
Nature: Sassy (+1 SpD, -15% Speed, -10% Evasion)

Type: Psychic/Bug: Psychic STAB; less susceptible to blinding, more susceptible to sound-based assaults as far as locking on with Psychic attacks, can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks. Bug STAB; more mobility in dense brush or forest conditions. Gains one extra attack on multi-hit moves, with a cap of five (5).

Abilities:

Shield Dust: (Passive) This Pokemon has dust covering the outside of its body that prevents opponents secondary effects from taking place (eg burn from Flamethrower). It does not block direct status moves (such as Thunder Wave.)
Keen Eye: (Passive) This Pokemon has extremely good vision and cannot have its accuracy lowered by an opponent through any means (including accuracy lowering attacks, Smogs, Hazes, Fog, etc.). Its attacks are still affected by an opponent’s evasion and the Pokemon's own accuracy.
Illusion (DW Locked): (Passive) Whenever you send this Pokemon out, it can feign the appearance of another member on your squad. If this Pokemon is damaged by a direct attack, the Illusion will cease at the end of the round. Direct damage is any attack that does damage to the Pokemon's HP. Attacks that are evaded, blocked via Protect, or damage a Substitute are not considered direct damage. It will retain the typing and moveset of the Pokemon with Illusion. [Usage Note: PM the ref if you are sending out a Pokemon with Illusion with the info on said Pokemon and one of your squad members in a Switch=KO battle. You must use that squad member later in the battle though.]

What, no thanks from Metal Sonic? Rude.

Anyways:

We're going to start this simple. The arena so far is a simple urban combat zone, with large slabs of concrete and broken walls as cover. There is no natural water, and limited natural plants. Commence the fight.

We start our tour through the house of horrors my mind as Scratchet throws out the most infamous move in ps, Stealth Rocks, to piss off hinder it's opponent later on in the match, and hopefully gain an advantage later on, as Cupra uses its mind to seize Scratchet's cerebral cortex and violently shake it, shocking its foe with the trauma of the attack. As round two starts, five fighter jets shoot past the field, flinching both combatants and rendering them unable to move, disrupting any previous strategy held by the trainers at this point. At this point, garbled radio chatter seems to come from nearby, but neither pokemon pay it any heed as Cupra again goes for Scratchet's skull, shaking it violently and really telling loads about my writing skills, repeated words, oh no. rending its mind, and as if in response, Scratchet lets out a Roar of pain, terrifying the caterpillar/larvae into turning tail and fleeing from the field.

Now, as the more astute readers may have noticed, the flavor is where I describe the changes in my mind as they happen. I will provide a brief explanation of the effects, and a bit more backstory down here, to help you two better plan out your moves, and so any readers may better understand my gneius (cmoing from the man who misspelled "genius" and "coming", oh boy have a clue of what's going on here.

The planes will fly by every two rounds. They have a chance of flinching each combatant every time, and may temporarily deafen pokemon if exposed to multiple blasts.

(It doesn't matter to me, metal sonic, but the term for the action after a combo is Cooldown, just saying because someone might point out that it appears you would be trying to use the move rest.)

We start this round as a new combatant is sent in to fight the beast Scratchet, and it starts with as per customs, jets fly over the arena, but with unusual quietness this time, and drop bombs that hit the ground and explode into an odd, acidic, prismatic liquid that expands and melts the entire arena, leaving the combatants in a whirlpool of who knows what. Scratchet Taunts his new foe, who responds in a blaze of embers and fire, trapping Scratchet and damaging it. Scratchet then drops a Slide of Rocks from the remaining scenery onto Torchic, who doesn't respond, exausted from its last attack, as the Pokemon are eaten away by the fluid they are immersed in. Scratchet lets loose a hyper powered cry that hurts torchic, who responds by shooting out a liquid flamethrower that scorches Scratchet to the bone, as the liquid starts to bubble, all, this heat can't be good for it.

As the strange liquid bubbles, we start our next round. Scratchet decides to clone itself to prevent incoming attacks, while Torchic cools down after such a tremendous attack last round. Scratchet then Yawns menacingly at Torchic, who responds by shoot flames at Scratchet, but it hits Bitch Scratchet a clone instead, killing it, but leaving Scratchet unharmed. Scratchet then, quick as a flash, calls in the power of nature to spray the acidic fluid that surrounds them all over Torchic, leaving it much more specially vulnerable, who tries again to hit Bob (S)cratchet with a jet of flame, but hits a clone instead, as the acid bubbles ferociously beneath them.

The round starts as Scratchet taunts its foe into a fury, causing it to lash out with a small ember, that misses Scratchet, melts a cloone, and starts a dumpster fire fire in the liquid arena. Seeming as ignorance is bliss Scratchet calls the Acid to Spray Torchic, who retaliates with a small ember, and at that point the entire arena explodes in a horrendous bang, micmicing the big bang theory, and creating a miniature universe in place of the arena, leaving Scratchet unconcious and leaving Torchic floating in space.
