My first competitive Team

I am new to competitive play and I'd like some advice. This is my actual core:

080.png

Slowbro@Assault Vest
Bold Nature
Regenerator
252 SpAtk / 252 HP / 4 Def
- Scald
- Psyshock
- Ice Beam
- Flamethrower

Huge Defense, decent SpAtk and decent SpDef thanks to Assault Vest. He can deal with Talonflame easily and kill Ferrothorn switch ins (wich usually don't expect Fire Blast). Also he can stand at Rotom-W's Volt Switch or survives Gengar's Shadow Ball to reply with Psyshock. Sometimes I really miss Thunder Wave + Slack Off + Leftovers but this set survives pretty well while adding more choices to his moveset. With Psyshock you can avoid being walled by Special Walls and his typing makes him an excelent pivot.

Charizard@CharizariteX
Jolly Nature
Though Claws
252 Atk / 252 Spd / 6 HP
- Outrage
- Flare Blitz
- Earthquake
- Dragon Dance

My sweeper, thanks to DD he usually knocks out 2-3 pokemon before dying. It's a usual set so I don't have much to explain. I've chossen EQ over Thunderpunch because Slowbro and Trevenant cant get rid of Azumarril and because not beeing a contact move allow us to kill opponent's Aegislash and Heatran fearing not unexpected KS.

Trevenant@Lum Berry
Careful Nature
Harvest
252 HP / 252 SpDef / 4 Atk
- urse
- Rest
- Will-o-Wisp
- Horn Leech

Amazing tank. Wow + Horn Leech and LumRest are pretty good combinations. He's a check against Gliscor, Rotom-W and Goodra, and he's pretty decent dealing with tans thanks to WoW. Since most of spinners are weak to HL and/or WoW and thanks to his ghost type he's a good spinblocker. Curse hit throw substitutes, wich makes Trevenant perfect to kill Gliscor and stuff.

Togekiss@Leftovers
Modest Nature
Serene Grace
248 HP / 208 SpAtk / 52 Speed
- Dazzling Gleam
- Roost
- Air Slash
- Fire Blast

I allways loved this set, wich has been improved with Dazzling Gleam to help us dealing with Dragons and Dark types. Thanks to +52 Speed we can outspeed Rotom-W, and with FB, DG and AS we cover almost every type combination except from Heatran.

Gliscor@Toxic Orb
Impish Nature
Poison Heal
184 Def / 252 HP / 72 Speed
- Earthquake
- Toxic
- Protect
- Substitute

I tryed Knock Off/EQ/Roost/Taunt Gliscor, but I found classic ToxiStall much more useful. It's my main physical wall, making a good core with Slowbro since he can absorb Electric damage and Slowbro is almost unaware of Ice Beams.

Excadrill@Choice Scarf
Adamant Nature
Mold Breaker
252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Rapid Spin
- Poison Jab

Choice Scarf is for outspeed Volcarona and MCharizard X, hitting them hard with RS. Thanks to Mold Breaker we can deal with Rotom with ease, and Poison Jab hits fairies hard (I wish Iron Head was an egg move). Excadrill is also my spinner, clearing the ground for Charizard and Togekiss.

Uh, there needs to be at least three lines of descriptions for each pokemon, you might want to change that before a Moderator locks it

Be very carefull around pokemon like mamaswine, your team does not hold up well against bulky ground types four are weak to it, especialy mamswine I honestly might change klefki simply because it doesn't contribute to team synergy (meaning its typing does not really help anybody or cover any weaknesses)

What could I use against Mamoswine? I guess I could add Rotom-W and Togekiss instead of Galvantula, Klefki or Tentacruel.

Added some images and fixed some pokemon
Unfortunately it still shares a major weakness like it did before, it is one pokemon, mamoswine, a total of five out of the six have a weakness for one of his stabs, another issue is ghost types since three are weak to it, Also the last issue is the slow bro and tentacruel are both bulky water types, your might want to find a different spinner although that will have to be something you decide for yourself.

I have checked Mamoswine's counters and I think I could go Scizor. I'd prefer Rotom-W but as a bulky water type I really like Slowbro. But I don't know any good spinner/deffoger that could fit my team and defeat Mamoswine at the same time.

About the ghost weakness, usually Shadow Ball users are also weak to ghost so a well-charged Shadow Sneak is usually enough to deal with them. I have tried to fit an Umbreon to be a wall for those kind of moves since Dark is now the only type resistant to it, but now that it's unable to learn Heal Bell and Foul Play I don't feel it's good enough.

I'm replacing Tentacruel for:

Umbreon@Leftovers
Careful Nature
252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SpDef
- Toxic
- Payback
- Protect
- Wish

But now I have to look for a new spinner and a new spot in the team. I'm thinking about replacing Charizard for MKanghaskan to reduce my weakness to rocks, but I really like the big dragon.

Also, testing Sitrus Berry for Togekis because it allows me doing Nasty Plot without fearing a 2HKO.

Why would you use Assault Vest which locks you on some useful moves (slack off) when you can use eviolite ?
Because eviolite do not work on Slowbro, and Assault Vest let me use Slowbro as a pivot since I don't need another physical wall thanks to Gliscor.

I've tryed sub+sitrus but I feel it's too weak against poison/burn. Thanks to Lum berry and it's HP and SpDef, Trevenant is a great special wall and completely inmune to status changes. Also, Trev is not fast enough to put a Sub before being hit.

As for Togekiss, he is my special attacker, so I think giving him options is much more useful than Parafinch for this role.

I think Trevenant is better off holding Chesto Berry instead of Lum Berry that way you don't have to have worry about burn or poison using up your berry and making it unsafe for Trevenant to rest. I also think it would be better to swap Curse with Leech Seed to make him even tankier.

I see your point, I'd definetly try Chesto Berry instead. As for LS over Curse, I really like seeds, but hitting throught substitutes is really useful since they're pretty hard to break for my team, but I think I'd give them a shot, too.

I've been trying both LS and Chesto Berry but I really prefer my set. LS is good but we can recover with Rest + Horn Leech. About Chesto, Lum cures ourselves from freeze, paralysis and confusion, wich makes Trevenant an awesome status absorver without losing a turn for Rest.
