You're leaving yourself rather shallow on offense however. I'd consider going completely defensive with Jellicent + Ferrothorn, and using bulky offensive spreads for Florges and Heatran.

I unfortunately also picked Chespin as my starter, I do have an untouched copy of Y but it's too late to beat the game and then soft reset for Moltres. Blue pentagon is both a blessing and a pain in the ass.

Ye, that should do it. Thanks for pointing stuff out :D Never even attempted to play compatively before X/Y, so still a bit rough on what I should do.

A Pixie Plate, Modest + 24SpA EV's Florges will OHKO Garchomp 100% of the time with Moonblast while still retaining bulk. Consider trying that spread, it's worked wonders for me in battle spot doubles. Un-resisted Moonblast HURTS.

Maybe go with Charizard Y instead of Moltres? I could have helped you if you asked maybe a week or two ago. I caught a random Moltres on my Y since I could just used bank to transfer a better one over when it's available if I ever even want to use Moltres. I can't think of a thing Charizard Y can't do that Moltres can, and Charizard Y also has overall better stats than Moltres, minus HP and physical defense.

It also takes up a Mega Evo slot.
 
I am looking for a Shiny, Adamant or Jolly Poliwag, Poliwhirl or Poliwrath with competitive IVs. Ive been looking/Masada breeding for this Pokemon for a very long time now with no luck.

I have a Shiny, Timid, IV6 English Mew and a IV6 Foreign Jolly Ditto to trade for one.

Yeah, as mentioned it takes up a Mega Evo slot and Mega Zard Y didn't do too well in testing. It's actually the added bulk which makes me prefer Moltres over Mega Zard Y and I run Ancient Power which allows it to function as a check against other Mega Zards and Talonflame because Tar and Rotom-Wash are unreliable in the sun (I'm revealing a lot lol, hopefully no one going to my regionals reads this). Also that item slot is much preferred, I still haven't decided what it runs but Charti Berry and co are absolutely neat to have while Mega Zard dies to everything.

I've actually got a Modest Moltres. Not sure what the IV's are exactly. If you give me a while, I can check. It has 31 in HP, Defense, and Sp. Atk, but not perfect Speed. (Not sure why. I know I soft-reset a few times for better IV's.) I can check exact IV's if you'd like.
 
i have a 5iv adamant male 31/31/31/x/31/31 thick fat marill. not competitively viable, but great for breeding water1 or fairy egg group mons.

looking for any 5iv male from the following egg groups:

31 Speed is pretty important due to wanting to outspeed speed creep Rotom but Rotom fucks me anyways. I'm interested if SpD is 25+.
