Does a sleeping, guts heracross get a +1 attack boost when attacking using sleep talk? and if the sleeping heracross was choice banded/scarfed and you use sleep talk, does the game lock down to one move forever?

Why would you have Sleep Talk on a Choice-equipped Heracross? I'm thinking the Choice Item should theoretically lock someone into Sleep Talk, but I'm not sure of that.

Browsing pldh.net's tier list, I come across an interesting observation... Slowking is MU while Slowbro is OU? Now I've been wondering why. They have similar stats except their defense/sp.def has been switched.

Slowking is BL because bulky waters like Defense more then Special Defense, for the most part. Then when you add the fact that Slowbro can boost it's Special Defence along with Special Attack with Calm Mind, you've got your reason. The only superior thing about Slowking that comes to mind is Nasty Plot, and Slowking certainly won't be sweeping anywhere outside of Trick Room with it's horrid speed.

Sleep Talk CB was also fairly good in ADV when you had nothing else to absorb sleep. Actually, I'm surprised it isn't used more, what with all the Hypnosis/Sleep Powder love now.

MU = Marely Used? MoverUsed? MordorlineUsed?

At any rate, I'd still like to know if there's a list somewhere of which items have effects in battle and aren't just for utility/decoration/experience etc. Like, the power items are for experience, but they still cut speed in half, right?

Also, what happens if you try to switch out but someone pursuit-kills you? Do you have to send in what you originally chose, or do you get to select a replacement pokemon after the turn is over like normal?

Finally, are all fractional HP things rounded down to the nearest whole number? Like, if you use belly drum and you have 401 HP, does it go to 200 and activate? I guess the same question applies for super fang (super fang on 401 HP does 201 damage, or is damage rounded down so it's 200?), and for stuff like salac berry (does it activate for 100/400 HP, or is it like 99/400 HP?).

Oh, and what happens if you use substitute with 25% or less health? Do you merrily kill yourself?

How do you breed dittos to get new dittos? I'm looking to start seriously breeding...

Pokeradar helps, as does using emerald or whatever where you can catch them easily, and using a magikarp to make them easy to catch or something.

*shrug* They're not that hard to catch if you get a Pokeradar chain going.

Thanks Familiar Trainer.

That's a funny quip. MU is actually a tier PLDH made up, called "Moderately Used", it's below BL and above UU.

Sub fails when you have less life than necessary. No suicide.

I have no idea, some guy on Shoddy Battle started saying some pokemon was in MU and it was really stupid. I'm surprised people are actually saying it

Oh, and what happens if you use substitute with 25% or less health? Do you merrily kill yourself?

It just won't work

Don't know the rest

edit: Below BL and above UU? Just no. Then we're going to get "above NU and below UU", then "below UU and above that one" and have like 150 tiers, each containing 1-2 pokemon.

Also, what happens if you try to switch out but someone pursuit-kills you? Do you have to send in what you originally chose, or do you get to select a replacement pokemon after the turn is over like normal? The first option.

Finally, are all fractional HP things rounded down to the nearest whole number? Yes.

I'm trying to battle on my recently won PBR. When I search for an opponent, sometimes I can battle, sometimes a message comes up "There are Pokemon that cannot enter this battle set to the Battle Pass"

What's wrong? I don't have any bad eggs in my box or anything. I've battled a few times, but this message is annoying.

I haven't played in a while so I need some help remembering how to get Ice Punch on Weavile. Thanks for any answers.

When trying to get Egg Moves, always be on the lookout for Pokemon in the 'Ground' Egg Group. Smeargle is in the Ground Egg Group and can Sketch any attack except Judgment. So therefore, any Pokemon with the Ground Egg Group cannot have an illegal Egg Move combination.

(Crobat with Brave Bird and Hypnosis is an illegal combination, there is no parent that can pass both other than a moveset hacked father with both.)

It's usually best to Sketch both Ice Punch and Pursuit for Weavile, so Sketch both, while you're at it.

Question... Does having two Pokemon that can half Egg step requirements stack?

For example, does having 2 Flame Body Slugmas lower the egg step from a 5200 step Pokemon to just 1300 steps?

My team is

Gyarados
Blissey
Cresselia
Yanmega
Garchomp
Weavile

Should I take out Weavile for Vaporeon? And do you think I have a decent amount sweepers, walls, etc?

Specifically, I want to know what hacked pokemon are specifically. Myself, I've used an AR to get pokemon with max IV's and speeding up EV training. Would these be legal in tournaments or on PBR?

Well, you could probably use them, but it's probably not the smartest thing in the world to do, seeings as if you get caught, you'll most likely be DQ'd (perfect IV's is usually a easy give-away)
