Chances are the children will have 2-4 iv. Then you replace the ditto with a female with 4 iv that you just bred and then breed another batch, replacing each parent as you get a better one.

no the chances are still quite slim.
I THINK it picks 2 stats from one pokemon and 3 stats from another.
or it could be a random 5 selected from both pokemon... so 1:4, 2:3, 4:1, 3:2.
so keeping that in mind.. if both pokemon have a perfect IV in one stat (EG: ATK) and that stat is selected by Destiny Knot (out of the 5 it picks in total) then it will ofcourse be 100% perfect iv.
I again seem to be having the most unprecedented bad luck, 65 Gligars later, and I have only had two 3IV hatches. I also seem to not be breeding the Immunity Ability onto any of the off spring any more.
I have a female Impish Gligar holding the Everstone and the Male with the Destiny Knot? Am I still not doing anything wrong and just being unlucky, or is there a problem?
The male, I believe, has the Immunity ability.

Males only pass down Hidden Abilities when bred with a Ditto. The issue you are having is your female Gligar is not a Hidden Ability one, so it is not getting passed down.

That's why. 80% of the time, it's going to be the mom's ability. Breed the male with imposter ditto to get an immunity female, then go for right evs.

Ive got a Tyrant with 5 IVs,a porygon with 6 IVs,a Charmender with 4 IVs,a Feebas with 4 IVs,and a Tyranitar with 5 IVs and a few random dittos with 2 -3 IVs
Just checked them. My goal is to make a 5 or 6 IV Immunity Impish Gligar and a 5-6 IV Adamant Charmender WITH Belly drums. My charmender with Belly drums doesnt have any max IVs,I think,because the judge doesnt say about the stats cant being beat...
What pokemon do I start breeding from ?

I'll send you a 4 iv charmader if you send me a heart scale back. The feebas I sent has 5 perfect iv btw.
