My frist defensive team!

Its my first defense team, hope someone can give me some advice!

They are some uncommon pokemon, and i found that Avalugg and Rotom-Heat have a very good defense coverage. Jellient is for burning phyical attacker, and Rotom-heat is for TW special sweeper.
Diggersby and Mega Manectric is for U-turn and Volt switch and bring out the defense poke. The reason i dont use return on Diggersby is that if im sure i can out speed with scarf, i will just use EQ/SE instead of return, Quick attack is go for take out the weak. Volcarona is a sweeper.

I want to get some hazard on the field, but i just dun know which one good for me team.

hope you guys can give me some advice for that!

Rotom-Heat @chesto berry

Ability: Levitate

EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Def

Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)

- Volt switch

- Overheat

- Thunder Wave

- Rest

I choose Rotom-H because he cover a Avalugg weakless, and it can hit steel wall really hard too. A lots of Special atk sweep need speed to sweep, TW them make it easier to take it out. Still thinking should i use swagger instead of rest and use stirus berry instead, he is just a wall right now, no stalling power.

Avalugg @ Rocky Helmet

Ability: Sturdy

EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Atk

Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)

- Recover

- Rapid spin

- EQ

- Avalanche

he is the reason i make this team, 184 Def is not a joke, with rapid spin and recover, he is a very good wall with good utility, even he has a bad typing, he 184 def cover it up. With study, he can be a good revenge killer with decent atk stat.

Jellicent @ Leftover

Ability: water absorb

EV:252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef

Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)

- Recover

- Scald

- Will-o-wis

- confuse wave

He is just a physical wall. Predicting a fighting move, switch in, and burn the physical sweeper. He is always good at what he is doing.

offense core

Diggersby @ choice scarf

Ability: Huge Power

EVs: 252 ATK / 252 SPD / 4 HP

Adament Nature (+Atk, -Satk)

- U-turn

- EQ

- Quick Attack

- Stone Edge

He is my favorite in this gen too, He is a u-turner in my team, by using scarf, he can outspeed lots of thing, EQ and Stone Edge for some one hit ko. The reason i use Quick atk instead of return is, im sure i can out speed with scarf, why dun i use EQ/SE?

Manectric @ Mega Stone

Ability: Lightningrod/intimate

EVs: 252 SATK / 252 SPD / 4 HP

Timid Nature (+Spd, -atk)

- Volt switch

- Overheat

- thurderbolt

- HP-ice

Mawile @ Mega Stone

Ability: intimate/huge power

EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 def

Adanment Nature (+Atk, -satk)

- sucker punch

- Play rough

- Fire fang

- Sword dance

He cover my team weakness. Thanks for Oranos, I need some one to stop the dragon, and besides that, my team is quite weak at rock, mawile just make it up, and i found that My team cant do anything against a Ghost wall, sucker punch may help.

Volcarona@ life orb

Ability: Flame Body

EVs: 252 SATK / 252 SPD / 4 HP

- Quiver Dance

- Bug Buzz

- Fiery Dance

- Hidden Power Rock

He is my main sweeper, it work pretty well for me, after one Quiver Dance, there aint many thing can wall him, HP rock is for predicting opponent Talonflame switch.

So one massive weakness your team has is a lack of dragon stoppers; avalugg does have sturdy, but he is also your spinner meaning in order to remove entry hazards he is going to have to break his sash, and with no bulky steels or fairys, a scarf garchomp or latios will devour your team. You could try using a pokemon with prankster to guarantee you will be able to get a burn off, but that still wouldn't help vs lati@s. I would recommend replacing mega manectric with mega mawile. I get that you lose his volt switch, but it isn't worth wasting your mega slot for; if you're gonna go volt turn then put in a genesect and go all in with that strategy, otherwise volcarona and rotom will give you more than enough momentum without resorting to manectric. Mawile also gives you some added priority and useful coverage that you would be missing otherwise, while manectric isn't doing anything that rotom can't :D

Thank you! Just tried Mawile in the battle! he is good! i found that i cant hit ghost hard in my pervious team either. Mawile add some offense coverage too! thanks! but i found that rotom heat rest is pretty bad, he is just a wall, have no stalling power with that moveset, should i change it to swagger insteasd of rest and use sitrus berry instead? and i am thinking about use Whimsicott instead of either jellicent/rotom for the pranster TW, is that worth it to lost a sdef wall?
