I fucked up and didn't notice something that I know a few of you have been doing with your checks and counters section. The idea behind the bullet points is to see all the checks and counters at a glance without having to read. The groupings are just for checks that are exceedingly similar (bulky fairies for Yveltal and bulky grounds for Zekrom) but otherwise each individual mon gets their own bullet point. (and then a description of how they check in detail) I understand that's not what it's like in the SDS smeargle example but the problem is that smeargle is a support mon so it doesn't have specific mons that counter it like most but rather specific methods (thus the groupings for just about every bullet). I also know that Darkrai and Groudon have already gone through GP but you are going to have to go back and fix that section and then have it gp checked again. Sorry for not noticing until now. D:

Alright, there's been a growing problem lately in CC of users reserving analyses for mons they clearly aren't very familiar with. Having the QC team hand hold writers throughout their analysis is a massive drain as it ends up being the QC team writing the analysis but through somebody else and not at their own pace. Writers should have a basic understanding of the Pokemon they are doing an analysis for so that the QC team only has to concern themselves with the details and/or the viability of the Pokemon/set. Which means, we are going to start being much more liberal about taking analyses away from users that are considered to not have the experience necessary to write an analysis for that Pokemon. In addition, users who have their analyses taken away will be barred from reserving another one during a case-by-case determined amount of time. This measure isn't to punish analysis writers but rather to save them the trouble of repeatedly making the effort of writing up a skeleton just to have it promptly taken away from them. Also, don't feel bad if you have your analysis taken away from you, the vast majority of the QC team is more than willing to help out new and/or inexperienced users learn more about the ubers metagame. Try to be more involved in the discussion going on in the ubers room on PS or in the #ubers channel on IRC where a lot of good, real time metagame discussion goes on. (lurking the forums can also help a lot)

Hi, I would like to reserve Genesect for an analysis. It's a phenomenal Pokemon and I am very experienced in its usage, to the extent that I even wrote about it in "The Smog". I'll get to work on a Skeleton right away!

Hey if I can when Scizor's into GP [and presumably mawile rejected] can I take ditto? It's a small one and I know what it does ;D And it's relevant.. that being said it needs a place in the viability rankings too >.>

I'd prefer to talk about once that's actually happened but keep in mind that ditto is a very borderline pokemon. The targets it can revenge kill are very limited and it's practically useless outside of that.

If you want to write an analysis for a Pokemon, make sure you post here first. Afterwords, you have 48 hours to have your skeleton ready for QC checks before anybody else who is interested in that analysis can take over.
