You want an intimate date? I wanna in-tim-a-date!!!

Hey guys, I'm back for round 2 of my rmt days, I was able to get a ton of help with my last rmt and was able to peak at about 2300 ( i don't really pay close attention to the exact numbers) but that was just the thing, it peaked and it got to the point where i couldn't improve upon it, and it began to get less fun because i could usually tell a few turns in whether i was going to win or loose. I figured it was time for me to make a new team and after a lot of testing this is what i came up with, much tankier then my past teams and it plays a lot differently than im used to anyway here it is.

Manectric @ manectricite (or however you spell that)

ability : lightningrod

nature : timid

EV's : 252 speed 252 special attack 4 hp

moves :

-Volt switch

- thunder wave

- overheat

- hidden power ice

Usage: Manectric has always been one of my favorite pokemon, mostly because i love the way it looks, and with the new mega evolution, it is now an amazing volt switcher both coming in and out. On the way out it is able to hit hard and fast with a great special attack stat, On the way in it criples physical attackers with a sharp attack drop and it is this that i have based this team on. The point of this team is to cripple the opponent to the point that they simply cannot touch me and manectric really helps with that.

Tyranitar @ assault vest

ability: slip stream

nature: adament

EV's: 252 hp 252 atk 4 def

Moves:

-stone edge

-pursuit

- fire fang

-earthquake

T-Tar probably plays the most important role on this team. It is my special tank, which is important because my team revolves around intimidate and wil o wisp so i need to be able to take special hits. It is also my biggest offensive threat so it gets a lot of usage. I use it throughout the game to tank hits and i use it in the end game to sweep. One thing i have considered doing is dropping the assault vest for leftovers and giving it stealth rocks, but I'm not sure how good that would be. this is a set that i think could use some tweaking so help is definitely appreciated here

Rotom-Wash @ choice scarf

ability: levitate

nature: calm

EV's 252 hp 252 spdef 4 def ( much help needed here i know there are several jump points rotoms should hit but i don't know them off the top of my head)

-Trick

-Volt switch

- will o wisp

- hydro pump

First off YES the name is a dispicable me reference ( you gotta admit it looks kinda like a minion) . Ok now that that is out of the way let me tell you what this guy is here for. As i said before this team is made to cripple the opponent and i use trick to emphasize this, one of the greatest fealings is paralyzing something with manectric, volt switching to rotom, and giving it a choice scarf, Its a double bonus when i get a usefull item in exchange, preferably lefties. It also carries wil o wisp, a major theme on this team, inorder to cripple physical attackers. Hydro pump is there just so that i can deal solid damage to major threats to this team, namely heatran who is immune to burns.

Brute-Root
250px-709Trevenant.png

Trevenant@sitrus berry

ability: harvest

nature: Bold

EV's: 252 hp 252 def 4 spdef

moves:

- substitute

- leech seed

-will o wisp

-curse

No it's not the venasaur from the first mewtwo movie, but the name is quite fitting... actually a more apropriate name would contain a number of words that you couldn't use in the presence of a lady. I mean seriously have you ever played against this thing? It's annoying as all hell 50% harvest my arse. That is what makes this poke a great member of this team. this is my premier wall if you do not have anything to counter this it will wall you to no end. The most important part of it is that the substitute gets set up, If i get a chance to work behind a sub and set up seeds your done for. Even better is if i get a chance to set up curse, a move that goes great with harvest. Finally will o wisp once again bears its annoying face just to piss you off a little more.

Mad Eye

302Sableye.png

sableye@leftovers

ability: prankster

nature: bold

ev's 252 hp 252 def 4 spdef

moves:

- taunt

-recover

-will o wisp

-toxic

Oh the references, this one is from hary potter big ups if you caught that one. Now did you really think i was going to make a team designed around crippling the opponent without this little bastard? shame! Prankster is an amazing ability and this thing is a great tank, especially with priority recover, basically meaning that anything that cannot do more than 50% damage in one turn will die a slow and painfull death... er faint. i pack toxic on this guy for those pesky fire types that don't burn, as well as for special attackers who don't mind the burn so much.

Notorious F.A.T

297Hariyama.png

Hariyama@ leftovers

ability: thick fat

nature: impish

EV's: 252 hp 252 defense 4 atk

moves:

-Bulk up

-knock off

-Brick Break

-earthquake

Suprised? Didn't expect to see this guy did you? well neither did i honestly. I never really thought of hariyama as much of a threat, but this thing is amazing in this role on the team. if allowed to Bulk up this thing becomes an amazing physical tank, It also has a great movepool allowing me to use it to deal solid damage to any poke who dares to enter on it. I choose an impish nature to maximize the defense boost from bulk up, I don't need F A T to sweep, i just need him to be a physical presence. Knock off also helps with the cripling aspect of the team.

Anyways that is my team, with this exact groupe i have played about 30 matches, but due to the annoying nature of this team my opponents often RQ b4 the match is finished so i really don't know how well this fares, in the games i have finished im 17-2 so i think that that is a pretty good start. any and all advice is appreciated, thanks for reading.

Got the request. I have a ton of suggestions for this team. First off Manectric. Thunderbolt > Thunder Wave for STAB that doesnt make you switch and Flamethrower > Overheat cuz the special attack drop plain sucks. For Tyranitar go mixed so you don't get fucked by burns and you get much better coverage. Rotom-W... What the crap is that. One, the scarf set is crap. Switch to Chesto Resto fits the team better. Go with a spread of 252 HP/212 Def/44 Spd to outspeed Jolly Azumarill. Lastly, Conkeldurr >>>>>>>>>> Hariyama. Does everything better, has priority better coverage whatever.

ok so i am definitely fixing the ev spread on rotom, ill test out mixed T-tar, but im keeping notorious FAT untill he fails me (i've just never done well with conkeldurr)

Mega Banette and Whimsicott can very easily shut your Sableye down with their faster priority Taunt. Same with Magic Guard users like Reuniclus, Clefable, and Alakazam. Give it either Night Shade or Foul Play over Toxic.
