Shiny Charm and Masuda Method

So I have been following this thread and now that I have the shiny charm I started breeding for a shiny Honedge, with a goal of 500 eggs and these are my results:

-Parents:
6IV JPN Shiny Ditto w/ Destiny Knot
4IV ENG Adamant Aegislash 31/31/31/X/31/X w/ Everstone

1-50 eggs: No shiny
51-100 eggs: On the 54th egg I got a 5IV shiny Honedge 31/31/31/X/31/31
101-150 eggs: No shiny
151-200 eggs: No shiny
201-250 eggs: No shiny
251-300 eggs: No shiny
301-350 eggs: No shiny
351-400 eggs: No shiny
401-450 eggs: No shiny
451-500 eggs: No shiny

So I got one shiny in 500 eggs.

I have been following this thread, I have the shiny charm Ive started breeding for a shiny Shroomish i will pledge 600 eggs first 300 will breed ENG Breeloom with JPN Ditto
last 300 Will Breed ENG Breeloom with JPN Breeloom
So far i have been unsuccessful.

- Parents set 1
JPN Ditto, nature timid
ENG female Breloom, Nature Naive

Batch 1 -1-100 No shiny
Batch 2 - 101-200 No Shiny
Batch 3- 201-300 No Shiny
Swapped Parent to JPN Breloom
Batch 1 - 301-400 egg 320 Shiny

Breeding 1000 eggs in total, starting off with growlithe right now, breeding a male English growlithe with a female one from spain,
FIRST BATCH OF 100: no shiny
 
Now that Pokebank is out in the US, I'll be MM+Shiny Charm breeding with Matching Parents instead of Ditto. While I doubt it'll actually affect the shiny rate, I'm still going to keep track of the two parenting methods separately just in case. :)

Wow, well that was one quick hunt. Just bred my ENG 6IV Froakie with a JPN 5IV Feebas. After 246 eggs, shiny 5IV Bold-natured Oblivious Feebas (11/31/31/31/31/31). HP is pretty meh, but still viable in my opinion. Next target, Treecko!

got the shiny charm and will be going for a shiny riolu using a GER Lucario and a JPN Mawile.

dont know if this question was asked before but is it relevant to keep the parents the same or is it ok to go for 1000 eggs, get a shiny after like 500 eggs, change the parents but keep the matsuda method in "streak"?

if that is ok i whould go for 1000, if not i could make it an even x00 after i get it if thats ok :).

Edit: ok, just reread the 6th page where its told to be ok :D so i'll be going for 1000

just a question..... im currently breeding two growlithes together, one is english and the other one is SPA, i dont know what that is, but that will still work using the MM right????
 
pretty sure it will, matsuda works with 2 different language version, so it should work with whatever version you are using :D
 
I picked up the Shiny Charm at last yesterday and got straight to breeding. I've got 150 unhatched eggs sitting in my boxes right now, all SC+MM (JP Ditto + US Honedge), so I figured, why not contribute? I'll post back once I finish hatching them.

It wasn't directed at you, no. I was just repeating fateerror's earlier sentiment because someone messed up the spreadsheet order again. It's since been fixed.

egg 387 2nd shiny riolu 390 hatched so far, will go for goomy now
Update: egg 555 shiny goomy, going for heracross now 180 so far no shiny.
makes 735 eggs total and 3 shinys.

i will keep my "hatch history" in a list from now on.

Got a great Japanese gastly. Breeding it with my english. Have Shiny Charm.

I'm going to keep going until I get a shiny so however many that takes. For the purposes of this thread, let's start off with 100 eggs. Updates to follow.
 
I pledge 600 in 10, 60 egg batches. I will try to list what I am using if I get a shiny; I'll finish the batch and then switch parents. [Shiny Charm]
