I got post modern in the quiz in the OP.
For the political compass test, got very similar results as to 2 years ago:
Two years ago I was just
slightly up and to the left.
No surprise again that I'm relatively middle leaning left, as I'm pretty strongly left for (mostly) social issues like:
LBGTQ rights (they are equal and should be able to marry and adopt kids lol),
religion (secular society ftw),
drug legalization (#freepot #freecocaine),
pornography (legalize it, but regulate the fuck out of it to ensure performer (male and female) safety),
abortion (allow it up until the point medical standards can reasonably sustain the life (aware this line is obviously subjectively) which leads me to allowing abortion till around the beginning of the 3rd trimester)
some military things (plz gtfo out of middle east america >.>)
but middle to rightish on issues like:
personal security rights (no issue with stringent regulation, but believe in the right to own guns),
the evils of big business (don't think big business as a concept is evil, just certain examples are in practice, also would impose regulation to prevent monopolies),
government benefits (strong believer in government benefits focusing on self-sustenance for the future, like education, rather than set monetary amounts for immediate benefits)
some military things (don't support cutting military funding into R&D)
Interesting to see a lot of you move more left as time has gone on.
