I've been breeding a female HA Omanyte (only 4 perfect IVs) with my 6 IV Ditto hoping to get an egg with the HA and the 5 perfect IVs in the places I want but I've gone through 50 eggs and still haven't hit the correct spread.

I know the RNG is just not on my side today but is there anyway to improve my odds? Is there a less chance the eggs will be HA if you breed the HA female with a Ditto rather than a male of that species?

If you breed it with a male of the same species, but with a different OT, you'll get eggs more frequently, but the HA odds will not change. That can't be changed, unfortunately :/

Replace the female with an offspring 5iv(female of course jesus christ), even if it's a misplaced iv.

I've got the oval charm so the egg frequency is no problem. I guess I'll just have to keep trying.

Just a higher number of 31 iv sets (but that doesn't matter right)
Edit: all you're doing is stacking, not hard to figure out lol

I just ran the numbers, you'll get a higher number of 5 IV Pokemon doing it that way, yes, but the chance of getting a "perfect 5 IV" will be exactly the same. I'd stick with using the same 4 IV female HA and a 5 IV male.
