Why would you want the highest attack IV possible on a Keldeo? All that does is increase damage taken from Foul Play and confusion.
I don't think foul play matters that much(justified and resistance). The extra Confusion dmg is negligible in my opinion, because confusion is situational, and the extra attack helps against chansey/blissey when using sacred sword(can't be sure about that though, maybe the 2hko stays 2hko, I don't know .-.). I need an expert to help here!
Secret Sword uses the user's Special Attack stat and the target's defense, not the user's attack and target's special defense. This generation, there is no advantage to having a higher attack IV on a specially attacking Keldeo.
How do you know that a Keldeo you get from someone is NOT going to be a clone off Pokecheck? Especially since it's an event that comes with an event ribbon normally - it won't have the "clone" ribbon.
I have a few I can breed with.
Hasty, because Greninja isn't going to survive any physical hits anyway, but can survive a Hydro Pump from certain 'mons on the switch-in. At least that's my perspective and experience. Also, Hasty/Naive means full power (uninvested) U-Turns.
Personally, I use the same logic as you and run Naive, but there must be a reason to use Hasty.
Greninja is so frail anyway, you may as well give download users an attack boost
