Is there some trick? do all the EMs have to be on the father Pokemon? I'm trying to get Gravity Aromatherapy, Counter, and Seismic Toss.

No, they can all be on the female. Just have to make sure the mother still knows the egg moves when you put it back in.

You're sure the female Chansey hasn't forgotten anything in the daycare right? Maybe try deleting all other moves? Females should be able to pass on egg moves too, not sure why.

Or would it be treated the same as using the 2 Ds glitch to clone?

Pokemon can't forget moves in the daycare in Gen VI :)

As long as you don't take them out of the daycare it doesn't count as having lost the moves.

Hmm, that's a toughie...I'd go Nest, personally. Green seems like more of a prominent color on Gastrodon than blue or yellow to me.

It depends, if someone explicitly asks you not to use the Powersaves Cloning method then that's no good, but in general it's fine.

I don't know if anyone has already replied but I am going to post anyway.

I personally have a modest one.
Other viable options are:
-careful for a curse set
-jolly/adamant for a dd set
-calm for a regular spdefencive set (with moves like boltbeam and toxic)

I totally have an hp grass chinchou but its male...not sure if you wanted anything in particular, was just really excited to see someone thought it was a good idea besides me
