Because, why not?
So yeah, I made a Monotype Fairy for doubles!
At first I really through there couldn't be much options to choose from, but in time I noticed some very good fairies for doubles battles!

The Attention Whore (or Follow me to death)
Cleafable Rocky Helmet
EVs: 252HP/252Def/4Sdef
Bold Nature (+Def,-Att)
Ability:Unaware
Moveset:
-Follow Me
-Moonlight (or Softboiled!)
-Cosmic Power/Heal Pulse
-Fireblast (another coverages are good too)
Most see this thing and wonder: wtf is with that Cleafable!?
Well, the answer is: Follow Me+Rocky Helmet. It lets me protect it's partner (the next pokemon specially) while damaging back anything that makes contact and being a status/priority atractor since FM has higher priority that most moves, even coming Pranksters. Cosmic Power is there to increase tanking power when it's partner uses Protect. Heal Pulse works pretty well in doubles, but is kinda mediocre thanks to Clef's speed. Moonlight for healing is kinda unreliable, so Softboiled (transfer from Gen III) is more reliable, but not by much.
This Clefable set-up makes a pretty good Mega-K counter, for example. Mega-K has only 1 supereffective move against fairies, Iron Tail, and it's from transfer and pretty unreliable. Unaware nullifies PuP, Clefable resists about everything not Normal that Mega-K has.
Fireblast is there for coverage, because a lot of fairies are very mono offensive. Also, Fireblast let's it roast even Assault Vest Scizor thanks to Unaware even with no investment.
Counters: Wide hitting moves bypass Follow Me and don't trigger Rocky Helmet. Surf, Earthquake, Rock Slide among the most dangerous. Specially Surf thanks to no Sdef investment.
Some may wonder, why not Togekiss, who has better defensive stats? Because Unaware lets Clefable ignore any stat change like PuP, SafeSwagger and Sword Dance.
The Surprise Sweeper! (or the Sweet Deathdealer)
Slurpuff @Sitrus Berry
EVs:252Att/252speed/4hp
Naugthy Nature
Ability: Unburden
Moveset:
-Play Rough
-Belly Drum
-Protect
-Cotton Spore/Thief/Return
Yeah, the probably most underrated fairy in history is one of the most surpresive physical sweepers on the game. Belly Drum+Unburden+Sitrus Berry let it maximize it's attack, double it's speed and heal 25% of it's spent hp. Proceed to sweep with Play Rough!
However, this sweet stack physical coverage is terrible. The only decent moves it learns are Play Rough and Return, which makes it completly counterable by Steel pokemon both offensive and defensive wise. Also, the other problem is getting Belly Drum withou dying in the first place.
Here is where Clefable enters! As I mentioned, Clefable is an awesome partner for Slurpuff. Fireblast roasts dangerous Steel types like Scizor and Follow me lets Slurpuff Belly Drum peacefully without fear of going down or getting burned/paralized for at least a turn.
Protect is there for giving Clefable time to get Fireblast/Cosmic Power/Moonlights in. Cotton Spore is a good alternative if you aren't really interesed in more coverage while Return let it hit Fire and Poison for neutral damage. Thief is there for those juicy consumables like berries IF it's worth it to lose the speed boost or to reduce the threat of someone of the case you know Slurpuff will go down by snagging their item and going down with it.
Counters: Priority without Follow me support, Steel walls that resist more that one Fireblast from Clefable.
*Clefable&Slurpuff as partners counters: Wide hitters like Earthquake and Surf spammers, Steel pokemon that resist Fireblast and disabling Clefable before the Follow Me (and Heal Block, but who runs it really).
Double Maws of Cute Doom (or Mega ''I play really rough'' Mawile)
(Mega) Mawile @Mawilite
Evs: 252Att/252Speed
Adamant Nature
Ability:Intimidate->Huge Power
Moveset:
-Play Rough
-Iron Head
-Sucker Punch
-Protect
Rather simple: get in, go Mega, and destroy.
Play Rough and Iron Head hit for an ultra-ton of damage. Sucker Punch is there for anything that is faster and for those resist the Fairy/Steel combo, like Fire. Thanks to Huge Power, Sucker Punch it's hard even when lacking STAB.
Protect is there for resisting anything that hits it for Supereffective like Earthquakes and Flare Blitzs while it's partner deals with it.
I could go with Swords Dance instead of Iron Head, but Iron Head is there for a reason: This team lacks fairy killing power. Fire Fang could be another option, but I have enough Steel counters and no fairy ones, so.
Fluffy Troll (or why I can't stop using Fake Out, the movie)
Whimsicott @ Focus Sash/Leftovers
EVs: 252HP/112def/124Sdef/20spd
Timid Nature
Ability: Prankster
Moveset:
-Taunt
-Helping Hand/Safeguard/Tailwind
-Encore
-Gigadrain
Overall, Whimsicott Preankster.
Taunt is there to cripple Pranksters and obvious Trickroomers like the infernal RageSub combos. Encore to cripple screeners and fakeouters. Helping Hand/Safeguard are regular support and Gigadrain for Recovery and in case a wild Quick Guard Meowstic spammer appears. Tailwind could be useful in that case too.
Overall, a trolly support prankster to make them cry. Oh, and focus Sash for dealing with stab poison moves like Gengar.
The Manly Dragon Killer and Special Tank (or I am a boy dammit! I am shiny!)
Sylveon @Assault Vest/Leftovers
EVs:252HP/252SpAttack/4Sdef
Ability: Pixilate
Modest Nature
Moveset:
-Hyper Voice
-Hidden Power Ground
-Psyshock
-Shadow Ball/Draining Kiss/Hyper Beam
It's shiny! and very male!
I needed a Special wall powerful enough to get some damage in, so Sylveon it is. Pixilate Hyper Voice puts widespread hurt on anything not resistant to it, Hidden Power Earth hits Poison, Fire, Steel and Electric for SE and Psyshock is there for dealing with things like Special defensive mons.
Shadow Ball for Coverage, Draining Kiss for recovery (75% of damage) and Hyper Beam for cheesiness/gimmickness.
But, it's slow and suceptible to physical attacks like Scizor who can hit it before it can deal with them.
The Happy Plane! (or the Plane of Nightmares)
Togekiss @ Choice Scarf
EVs: 4HP/252 SpAt /252 Speed
Ability: Serene Grace
Modest Nature
Moveset:
-Dazzling Gleam
-Fire Blast
-Air Slash
-Aura Sphere
Togekiss is mainly here to deal SE hits while being a fast Plane of (happy) Death and destruction. Dazzling Gleam and Air Slash hit for STAB, Fire Blast roasts Bug, Steels, Ice and Grass. Aura Sphere is for dealing with Normal type pokemon.
Any priority SE hit will kill it however, so Clefable is awesome here too, absorbing status and priotities like a boss.
Possible other Members (WIP):
Mega-Gadevoir:
Her coverage is awesome with massive SpAtt and Speed on the good side, so she is always a good alternative to M-Mawile. I personally use both since I play at Battle Spot so I can have 2 Megas to choose from.
Florges:
She could go instead of Sylveon, since her SpDef is higher and is slightier more speedy. Plus, Grass coverage is a boon to this team, but the lack of STAB could make her less interesting. It all goes for Hyper Voice vs Grass Coverage since both can learn a Psychic move.
Klefki:
Priority Thunder Wave and Dual Screen are pretty juicy bits. He has better defensive typing and some better defensive stats plus Foul Play. I could love the PrioPara and PrioScreens, but I could need to change Whimsicott and saying good bye to Taunt+Encore is hard. I could need to do some tests.
Azumarril:
Resisting Steel and hitting Fire for SE is awesome, but overall I feel like I can do both within the team already. M-Mawile is superior in everything but hitting fire types and resisting the overused earthquake.
*I had in mind a Trickroom mono fairy that could include the hyperdefensive Carbink and supporty Arommatize as Trick Roomers. Grandbull and Wigglytuff could awesome here, specially Grandbull's high attack and low speed. Still thinking about it, but overall a good and variable alternative*
All advices and comments are appreciated!
