Uuh, I checked the Analysis of Muk and it gave me a moveset that read:
move 1: Gunk Shot / Poison Jab
move 2: Explosion
move 3: Fire Punch
move 4: Shadow Punch
My question is, how is it possible for Muk to have Fire Punch AND Shadow Punch? Is that even possible?

Yes you would need to breed a Muk in the 3rd Generation and he would learn the egg move shadow punch. Then he would need to learn Fire Punch from the move tutor in Emerald.
With Liquid Ooze, you still lose HP from draining attacks. The opponent loses that amount of HP it would have gained.
What about Shadow Sneak?
Shadow Sneak is a 4th Gen move, so no dice there.

Ok so I'm EV training for Andren right? IT takes about 19 tackles from his Yanma to KO one of Fisherman Andrew's Magikarp.
So I have Power Lens attached, so 6 EVs and 24 Sp.Atk EVs for battle.
If I kept Yanma in for 1 turn against a Magikarp,then switched to a Starly, would Yanma get the Power Lens EVs PLUS the speed EVs even though Starly killed it? I know if you get Exp. You get EVs but I didn't know if it takes Power Items into the EVs.

Yes, Yanma would get the 1 Spd EV and 4 Sp. Atk EV's. As long as it appears it gets EV's, including those of Power Items.

One last question to cloning: is GTS cloning generally reliable? It takes a long time for me and it seems to import the pokemon at relatively different times

When you're facing a new opponent whom you know nothing about (which is generally the case), what's the best way to start predicting?:
- Underprediction (i.e.use that Close Combat on Blissey)
- Overprediction (i.e. use a Special Attack on Blissey from a Mixed Sweeper)
I ask simply because it's been buggin' me for a while and tend to lose the tempo of the match early on a few times due to this error.

yes, you could also use vitamins before ev training and rare candy(beofre and after). Run around with the pokemon holding Soothe Bell. Give the pogey massages: the girl in Veilstone and the Ribbon Society.
