I have had great success with Tentacruel, but I can only keep him if I get rid of Mamo which is cool for stab priority ice shard. And the 50% Ttar boost is cool too. So many choices, i'd like to continue hearing everyones thoughts so we can continue editing/ drafting this concept of the most balanced team. (Well superbly balanced at least) Why are you not a fan of Mamo too much?

*Edit Could I use T-Tar's water weakness as bait to draw a water attack then switch to tentacruel?

I think you should use garchomp give it a scarf and boom out speeds and kills

Too many common weaknesses and no special bulk. But I have voiced my opinion and need to get back to breeding. Only have one Pokemon left for my new team
 
Hmm well my current team right now is talonflame garchomp skarmory
Mega Venusuar thundurus and azumarill looks no different then yours in similarity
 
@ Hirshey Yeaa im seeing his stats now, MONSTROUS attack with life orb, but he is a bit of a glass cannon. Thanks for the insight on my new team. And good luck with yours.

@Chestr I definately did not even think about Garchomp. He is a monster (literally). I feel like I could use the ground spot on my team for a more defensive type instead of a sweeper. What do you think about Donphan btw?

Pretty good prefer garchomp but that's because I've used one so many times...
 
Opinions on team members and set-ups for unusual Pokemon?

First, current team members:

Charizard Y - Special sweeper (Solar Beam / Dragon Pulse / Flamethrower / Focus Blast)
Choice Band Terrakion - Physical sweeper/revenge killer (Close Combat / X-Scissor / Stone Edge / Earthquake)
Light Clay Magic Bounce Espeon - Dual Screens (Psychic / Light Screen / Reflect / Yawn)
Water absorb Vaporeon OR Sync Umbreon - both stallers/walls (Leftovers / Protect / Wish / Scald or Payback)
Mega Scizor - Build n' Basher (Roost, Swords Dance, X-Scissor, Bullet Punch)

Possible team members:

Jolteon - Special sweeper (Thunderbolt / Volt Switch / Shadow Ball / HP Ice [Haven't gotten one with a correct HP yet])
Greninja - Dual Spikes (Spikes / Toxic Spikes / Surf / Taunt)

Any good teammates or replacements for the top 5 (preferably not Aegislash, Garchomp, Volcarona, or Tyranitar in any way)?

Separate team:

Mega Houndoom - Special Sweeper (Sludge Bomb / Flamethrower / Dark Pulse / Solar Beam)
Heat Rock Ninetales - Sun, Houndoom partner (Will-o-Wisp / Substitute / Roar / Flamethrower)
Chlorophyll Venusaur - Special Build n' Basher (Growth / Sleep Powder / Sludge Bomb / Giga Drain [OR SOLAR BEAM, STILL DECIDING]


So, how do Houndoom, Ninetales, and Venusaur sound as a set team?

Also, still looking for a darn Houndoomite.

He is very deadly. So far I kind of like the idea of T-Tar with stealth rock(don't know what item to use), Charizard, Latios, and Tentacruel as Rapid spinner. Need to decide if I want Gliscor or Skarmory for defensive wall, and would also need a solid physical sweeper/revenge/ priority user. Examples may include scizor, dragonite, etc

Hmmm I really think your better off with skarmory and garchomp I think should do better then scizor and dragonite but hey my thoughts

Houndoom and Ninetales are both fire, and Charizard Y/ Scizor appear to both be megas. Like the wish vaporeon btw

The double megas thing is from my understanding that usually the 6 pokemon available are just, like Battle Spots, to choose 3 from.

If it isn't, then my mistake, I'll probably remove Scizor, since I'm not big on Swords Dancing.

And yeah, I know Ninetales and Houndoom are both fire, but there's really nothing to do about that, as no other pokemon bar Mega Charizard Y have Drought.

Ah ok gonna post once more since I was checking my inbox lol. Use leftovers with a stealth rock ttar. Scizor can be a great revenge killer with pursuit and bullet punch. You can use roost and life Orb to increase his power and lasting impression. And gliscor is a good physical wall with Toxic Orb so he doesn't care about status and can dish powerful damage with earthquake. You can use him to toxic stall with substitute, toxic, protect, and Earthquake if necessary. Or as a physical attacker.

Also like wish vaporeon. You can use bisharp over mega scizor for knock off and coverage. Or jolly excadrill with mold breaker for a fast spinner. Both share a weakness to fire, so I'd only go for one.

Thanks for hte Vaporeon comment. I'll probably go with Bisharp, then, since I've been trying to get a Knock Off Bisharp anyway. Can't really come up with a good 6th since I'm knocking Scizor off, though Shell Smash Smeargle is a consideration in my mind.

Any opinions on the Jolteon or Greninja set-ups, anybody? Also, just so I'm clear, everybody seems to be referencing teams and battles from 6-on-6's?

One more question, as well: Thoughts on replacing moves with shotty accuracy (Focus Blast on Charizard, Stone Edge on Terrakion) with somewhat weaker but more accurate moves? I don't really like relying on an RNG for moves when I could be using another move that's guaranteed to hit (at least on enemies that don't have high evasiveness).
