The badass fairy and her HO (Peaked 1612)

Hello guys!, after several weeks of trying to come up with my own team I finally found something I enjoy playing (I think this is HO o.o), I'm new to the whole competitive scene been playing pokemon all my life but only clearing the storyline and stuff.

Anyways I managed to hit 1586 with this one (from 1200's) only losing 2 games, but after that I kept losing over and over again (around 1300 - 1400 atm), so I was hoping you guys could give me some advice, also I mean for this team to be also used in XY that's why I avoid most of the legends and or sets only obtainable in past versions. ( except for latias and suicune cause someone gave me perfect ones :S)
Meet Mawile and her random friends

Mawile_(anime_AG).png

Morgana (Mawile) (F) @ Mawilite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 124 HP / 252 Atk / 132 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- Play Rough
- Focus Punch (Gotta replace this)
- Sucker Punch

She's my main attacker, bulky enough to take some hits and answer back with a huge punch, she finds quite a lot of opportunities to set up her sub and start punching stuff, over my testing I found out she's best brought up late since she's not bulky enough to last the whole match. I picked this particular pokemon as part of a core of Mawile + Dragon + Greninja, to try and cover some of their weaknesses.

Hayato (F) @ Weakness Policy
Trait: Multiscale
EVs: 216 HP / 64 Atk / 228 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Extreme Speed
- Roost

This is the dragon part of my offensive core, I picked dragonite in particular because of his great bulk while still retaining a lot of power + a great priority move (extreme speed), guy has been doing wonders for me, I was using a CBnite till I found this set, gives him so much bulk and the surprise factor since most people will try to ice beam it to death only to find out he survives and kills back :D, they usually switch lati@s to this guy and try to draco meteor only to get killed by the claw.

I love switching this into heatran, excadrill and even garchomp (assuming greninja is dead) all threats to mawile

Hayato (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Protean
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Extrasensory

My favorite pokemon of this gen and a great anti-lead, most of the time this guy either kills or forces a switch, He's the third part of my offensive core, and covers a lot of the weaknesses of mawile and dragonite, it can kill most bulky grounds and dragons, mega venu and even defensive rotom.

Had a lot of success early in the ladder with him but as I reached the 1600 it was getting countered a lot, I even tried a physical set which worked against other greninjas and some special walls that switched into him, but the lack of icebeam is really noticeable.

Demencia (Clefable) @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Fire Blast
- Softboiled

This is my special sweeper / physical wall, I find he has a great bulk and great defenses, it can absorb status, switch into hazards, surprise kill with the fireblast, and when you get a good switch in and manage to set up it's pretty much unstoppable. Basically his job is to soak up status and use the oportunity to set up.

With this spread I can take an iron head from an unboosted bisharp and kill it back with fireblast.

Seki @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Relaxed Nature
- Leech Seed
- Stealth Rock
- Gyro Ball
- Thunder Wave

My physicall wall and rock setter, great typing good special defense as it can take special hits that are not fire or fight, thunderwave is there as my only status move, leech seed to stall and my only mild answer to baton passers (if I even manage to set them up).
His main job is to set rocks, spread waves and kill fairies I picked this guys because of the usefulness of his ability combined with rocky helmet, it poses threat to mega pinsir, talonflame, bisharp and azulmarill.

Meridia @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Thunderbolt
- Psyshock
- Defog

I just love latias! so much raw power and speed, ever since I started using her I try to fit it in most of my teams, her main job is to break things that wall my team, a draco meteor can kill pesky rotoms, gliscor, also psyshock is another answer to mega venu, latias also supports dragonite with defog to remove rocks that break his multiscale. He's my second special attacker (reliable one since clefable needs to set up to sweep).

------------------------

Well that's it! I'll leave you guys the importable to run your own tests.

Hey there! You should really bulk up your descriptions more, as 3 lines is what is required for each Pokemon in the RMT rules. You could expand a bit on their roles, why you've chosen this exact Pokemon, and what you aim to accomplish with this particular Pokemon. If u need more advice, take a look at other RMT posts to get a feel what you could write about each Pokemon. Make these changes and I'll be sure to come back and rate.

Dang I forgot about the 3 line thing, I'll write more on this and see how it goes :) I changed it now.. it barely hits 3 lines lol :( I'm not so good at writing

Gyro Ball and T wave on ferrothorn is unadvised, as Paralysis makes Gyro Ball weaker. If you're running an offensive defogger over a defensive defogger, latios would most likely be a better choice than latias. A specially defensive dragonite is a bad idea, as many special attackers carry ice beam or draco meteor. One that does really messes up your team since you have no dedicated special wall or assault vest user to take the hits. Focus Punch is a good surprise factor on steels that like switching in; if it's not working, try iron head or even fire fang to hit ferrothorn. Also, can you explain your mawile and dragonite EVs? I'm curious

The dragonite set is pretty much to survive said icebeams and meteors, so far I have been able to KO back any dragon that sent a draco meteor or ice beam my way (at full health a draco meteor won't kill me) and I believe depending on the user I can survive 2 ice beams, anyways I got no math on this but I saw this set posted somewhere then tried it and loved it! I'll quote you the description, mawile spread is to outspeed azumarill, rotoms that have no speed investment, defensive tyranitars and I think most base 80 speed pokemons, the idea here is to setup sub quickly I might be wrong with this one but I felt it worked to some extent tho I sacrifice a lot of bulk.

Anyways here's the dragonite description:
Dragonite's combination of awesome bulk, movepool, ability as well as a very valuable typing make it a great pivot for offensive teams. By virtue of its Dragon/Flying typing, it easily takes most of the attacks Pokemon such as Landorus, Aegislash, Mega Charizard Y and Specs Keldeo (although Icy Wind is semi-common), all four powerful foes that give most offensive teams a hard time switching in, can launch and threatens them greatly in return. It also handles Thundurus-I rather well as 1 on 1. Even with the relatively small attack investment, Dragonite easily 2HKOs Leftovers Thundurus-I before it can do the same back with Hidden Power Ice, while Life Orb Thundurus-I takes enough recoil damage to be 2HKO'd by Dragon Claw + Extremespeed. Dragon Claw + Extremespeed also 2HKOs Deoxys-S. Earthquake handles foes such as Heatran and Aegislash who would otherwise wall you with ease and does more damage to Mega Tyranitar, although it will still set up on you quite easily.

EVs allow you to survive 2 Sludge Waves from Landorus after Stealth Rock (well, 99% of the time, when I realized that I couldn't get a spread that guaranteed survival without missing out on the jump point at 64 attack EVS I just figured I'd take that; 220 HP/228 SDef always survives two), which is about the strongest common non super-effective attack you will be switching into. You can put more EVs into attack if you feel thats needed or think you can guarantee that SR is off for most of the battle, and you can even run other moves such as Iron Tail or even special attacks on this guy. That's the great thing about bulky Dragonite: you can mix and match moves and EVs as you see fit and handle whatever your team has problems with. That also makes it radically different from the Parashuffler/Defensive SubTail Dragonite which tried to shuffle/paralyze/rack up hazard damage. This Dragonite uses his naturally high attack and good bulk to be a bulky offensive threat that some Pokemon can't really break through.

With mawile / dnite / ninja u should run something to kill bulky water.

Hayato (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Protean
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Grass Knot / HP Grass
- Extrasensory

Dark Pulse didn't add nothing to the core.

252 SpA Life Orb Protean Greninja Grass Knot (100 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Suicune: 322-382 (79.7 - 94.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 SpA Life Orb Protean Greninja Hidden Power Grass vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Suicune: 195-229 (48.2 - 56.6%) -- 32.8% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 SpA Life Orb Protean Greninja Hidden Power Grass vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Rotom-W: 205-244 (67.4 - 80.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 SpA Life Orb Protean Greninja Hidden Power Grass vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Rotom-W: 205-244 (67.4 - 80.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 SpA Life Orb Protean Greninja Grass Knot (20 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Manaphy: 73-88 (21.4 - 25.8%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recover

252 SpA Life Orb Protean Greninja Hidden Power Grass vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Manaphy: 218-257 (63.9 - 75.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

There are 2 different moves. I suggest U the HP grass: rotom is more common. And with WoW is more dangerous than crocune or manaphy.

If u love so much tank ice beam with dnite, why u don‘t the weakness police?

Thanks for the description. It is a surprising set, but if dragonite is your only special wall, you have problems after it's dead. And it cannot switch into ice beams or dragon moves, only come in on them later.

Actually I had a lot of trouble with Rotoms so I will try the HP grass, and lol I suppose weakness policy would work great with this set let me try that out! thanks for your comments.
