Sleep Talking Metagross?

name: Sleep Talker
move 1: Meteor Mash
move 2: Earthquake
move 3: Sleep Talk
move 4: Rest
item: Life Orb/Leftovers
nature: Impish
evs: 252HP/6Atk/252Def

I was just wondering if this was viable as a pretty hard hitting sleep talker, with good type coverage... I mean it seems good, and while you might miss out on a couple of toys Metagross usually has it looks like it could wall a good number of things. 364 HPs with a 394 Def and his typing sounds like a good wall, right?

I'm hardly an expert here, I just noticed this and saw that it wasn't really commented on in the Metagross analysis, and I thought it looked good.

Anybody else have an opinion?

The problem with metagross as a tank is its weakness to the most common physical attack in the game, earthquake. Also with just meteor mash and earthquake for attacks you really can't do anything to skarmory or, more importantly, Gyarados, which is quite a big threat most physcial walls attempt to stop.

Not to mention Gross can't actually do that much, Bronzong can wall better on both defenses and the drop in attck isn't that huge when you factor in that this probably won't do damamge to most pokemon.

Rhypherior does this kind of set better, rock/ground for STAB provides good coverage and solid rock makes earthquakes much less of a pain.

Okie dokey, I thought maybe it might work with his resistances and all, but that's a good point about not doing much against those other walls, and his Earthquake weakness.

Thanks.
