The idea of this team is built around trying to take very commonly seen OU pokes and (mostly) use them with uncommon sets. I've had a fair bit of success with this team, and whilst the more advanced player probably won't be as quick to jump to the fatal conclusions about the team, for low to mid level ladder climbing I've found it extremely effective (only one loss to around 20 wins)

Clefable: The lead. When used as a lead, 99% of the time it is a stealth rocker. An offensive set I've found is almost unseen (well it was at least until BT did a video with one, but hey ho) and, believe me, there is nothing more satisfying than OHKO'ing lead ferrothorns with a flamethrower. It has incredible coverage in boltbeam, strong STAB and the element of surprise. I urge you to try this. Especially in the lower levels of the tiers, it's incredible.
Rotom-W: Specially defensive. Very standard. Carries confuse ray for belly drum azumarill. I'm sorry, it's too good. Plus, if every single poke was an uncommon set, they'd start to expect uncommon sets. It's all a mind game. That's at least how I justify it.
Mega-Scizor: Best physical wall I've ever used. No, seriously. Priority, momentum, reliable recovery, defog, huge defensive stat, pretty decent defensive typing, weaknesses covered really well by Rotom. People presume it's offensive almost every time. With Gyara as another potential mega, bluffing choice is also something you can do. It has everything. Unsung hero of the team. Ironically, quite often burn fodder.
Kyurem-B: Started out pretty much just as something to counter Rotom-W. Scizor comes in, they send in Rotom-W, Scizor takes the burn, U-turns out into Kyurem-B, subs on the will-o. Takes an earth power, volt switch doesn't break the sub. That one routine happens more often than I can stress. Fantastic mixed attacker with the stupidly high attack stat, brilliant special coverage, just a shame the set doesn't really allow room for dragon STAB, but oh well, you can't win them all. This is made up for by everyone always instantly presuming band and going for a status on the sub.
Gyarados: In theory, the sweeper of the team. Fairly standard Gyarados set, except max speed timid. Bear in mind, this team is built to utterly demolish the midranks of OU, so the extra HP, personally, for me isn't worth it. At +1 speed, people presume it isn't going to be groundbreakingly fast, which it isn't, but it is moreso than they expect, sending things in which they expect to outspeed, to be OHKO'd. Aside from this, intimidate abuse is a thing. This was the last poke added, at this point I just really needed a set up sweeper, this was a Specs Lucario (surprisingly good, steel STAB is actually useful this gen, Aura Sphere stab, but too frail for my liking) but I found that stall teams were becoming a huge issue. This gyara is a pretty decent counter to stall teams, once any phasers are out of the way.
Entei: This was a CB Talonflame, but I figured since I was trying to fight generic, having both that and a SpDef Rotom-W just defeated the purpose. I wasn't expecting much from Entei, but it surprised me. Sacred Fire hits like a truck, 50% burn chance is always delightful, priority in Espeed, Stone Edge for semi-decent coverage, rest just as a filler more than anything (in theory, one day will come in very handy. 20 or so games in I've never used it). Pretty decent wallbreaker, however is more primarily here as he really does bring together the type coverage quite well.
All in all, I had huge fun with this team. MVP was undoubtedly Clefable, I've never had a poke cause more ragequits single-handedly in my life. I know this team isn't perfect, but it's a balance of fun, mind games and being ungeneric(ish). Perfect for laddering. Keeps things interesting. However, the main reason I am mosting this is for suggestions, mainly to the last two slots. I don't like having three of my four offensive threats being weak to rocks. Scizor carries defog, but still. Don't get me wrong, the team as it is is very solid, but I'm not the biggest fan of Gyara and Entei is a bit frail with rocks weakness, life orb recoil and no bulk investment. Thank for you reading :)
