So, I've been working on a team revolving around the equivalent of a Pokemon nuke- Kyurem-W. I also noticed that this is my 150th team, so I decided to do a RMT. One thing I do need is a mega, but that can come later. Here's a preview-

Heres the overview of each pokemon in detail-

groudon.gif

Groudon @ Leftovers
Ability: Drought
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Fire Punch
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Stealth Rock

Groudon is a Hazards setter. It has 8 Spd EVs to outspeed 4 EVed base 90s, and max attack to stop most leads in their tracks, like Dual Screens Taunting Deoxys-S. Stone edge is for flying type coverage, and Fire Punch is for taking out pokemon that resist or take neutral damage from his other 2 moves, and for the equivalent of a stab boost in the sun. Stealth rocks because rocks are the best thing since cinnamon bread, and the rest of the EVs in HP for great physical bulk and usable special bulk.

palkia.gif

Palkia @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Spacial Rend
- Surf
- Aura Sphere
- Fire Blast

Palkia takes advantage of both the Rain and the Sun. If I win the weather war, I can hit off Stab equivalent Fire Blasts everywhere, with Spacial Rend for a powerful Stab no matter what, and, you guessed it, Aura Sphere for taking down Steel types in the rain. (You might have not guessed it.) Surf is for another Stab, and scarf to give it great speed. I chose modest nature because it has a scarf, but you can run timid to outspeed other Scarfed base 100s with a neutral nature and speed tie with those with a boosting nature. If you rather have more power on your Palkia though, you can run this set-

Palkia @ Lustrous Orb (Or Specs)
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Aura Sphere
- Fire Blast
- Surf
- Spacial Rend

This description will be shorter, but still in depth. (As a side note, I will be focusing on the Lustrous Orb set here.) Lustrous Orb offers a good boost to both his dragon type moves and his water type moves. Timid is for an extra speed boost, and the EVs are the same as before-252 Spd/252 SAtk/4 HP. Lustrous orb allows you to get some kills where it would normally be a close call, and allow you to have diversity. You can also fake the choice scarf and their would-be revenge killer with a super effective move. Overall, this set is outclassed, but quite usable.

xerneas.gif

Xerneas @ Power Herb
Ability: Fairy Aura
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Modest Nature
- Geomancy
- Moonblast
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Psyshock

This is the greatest pokemon in Ubers, period. Stat wise, it seems like your relatively bulky Sweeper, with good HP and attack stats, along with a trolly-to-the-user speed stat of 99.(WHY NOT 100 GAMEFREAK! WHY!) The main thing that makes Xerneas the most used Pokemon in Ubers- Geomancy. Geomancy, at a glance, seems like a poor-man's Quiver Dance. It takes two turns, but has the same effect over those two turns as Quiver Dance, but you can't cancel it until it finishes and you don't get the Special Defense boost on the first turn! Why would anyone ever use it? The answer is Power Herb. It used to only be useful with Sky Attack and Solar Beam, but now its the saving grace of this glorified Santa-Slave. With power herb, it's like getting 2 Quiver Dances in 1 turn! Combined with its Base 131 SAtk, it's ready to sweep any unprepared team. I made it Modest over Timid to give it a power boost, since I'm already outsped by other Xerneas since I have HP Fire (Which can be sun-boosted thanks to Groudon). Geomancy because its Over Powered, Moonblast for a Fairy Aura boosted Stab, and Psyshock for special walls like my next Pokemon.

hooh.gif

Ho-Oh @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SDef
Careful Nature
- Brave Bird
- Sacred Fire
- Earthquake
- Flame Charge

This is the greatest special wall of all time. With these EVs, Nature, and Item, Ho-Oh can live hits upon hits. Heres some calculations

252+ SpA Choice Specs Turboblaze Kyurem-W Draco Meteor vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Assault Vest Ho-Oh: 151-178 (36.2 - 42.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO (The Damage Calculation can't detect Special Attack drops mid- calculation, so if he doesn't switch out, it would take 5 turns at max damage every time, doing 11% at max on the last turn.) Heres some other calculations-

252 SpA Mega Mewtwo Y Psychic vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Assault Vest Ho-Oh: 70-84 (16.8 - 20.1%) -- possible 5HKO

252 SpA Mega Gengar Shadow Ball vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Assault Vest Ho-Oh: 58-69 (13.9 - 16.5%) -- possible 7HKO

252 SpA Choice Specs/ Soul Dew Latios Draco Meteor vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Assault Vest Ho-Oh: 112-133 (26.9 - 31.9%) -- guaranteed 4HKO (Not counting SAtk drop again)

Continuing, Brave Bird is for powerful stab, along with Sacred Fire, and Earthquake is for coverage. Flame Charge is for the greatness known as predicting switches, allowing it to outspeed and 2 Hit KO Some would-be counters on the switch, like Physical Lucario-Mega. It also allows it to get a Quasi-Sweep, if the opponent has mainly special attacking Pokemon. In fact, Ho-Oh can recover more health from switching out then it takes from a Latios Soul Dew/Specs Draco Meteor at max damage. That proves this thing's Defensive Power.

kyurem-white.gif

Kyurem-White @ Choice Specs
Ability: Turboblaze
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Earth Power
- Ice Beam
- Fusion Flare

Meet Kyurem-W, the coolest (The puns are real) ice type around. With the highest non-mega special attack, good speed by Mascot legendary standards, he can deal out some damage. With this set, he has perfect neutral coverage. Another advantage of running him over a special mega is the fact that he can use Choice Specs. These give him a powerful advantage. His ability allows him to hit pokemon with abilities that would make them immune or resistant to his most powerful moves. He is a monster, reaching the equivalent of 723 special attack with a modest nature. And with very good bulk, he can survive hits and deal out pain. He has Draco Meteor for insane stab, Earth Power, for coverage, along with Fusion Flare, and Ice Beam for a good accuracy no drawback stab move with alot of super effective coverage.

shaymin-sky.gif

Shaymin-Sky @ Focus Sash
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Seed Flare
- Air Slash
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Earth Power

Shaymin-S is my second favorite pokemon of all time, and my favorite Shiny. But his looks aren't everything. With great Special attack and amazing Speed, he can be a great Suicide attacker. But that's not the only trick up his sleeve, he also has the amazing ability Serene Grace. Combine that with a Stab Air Slash to use with it's base 120 Special Attack stat, and you got the most powerful of the 3 flinch trolls. Since his bulk isn't that impressive, I decided to give him a sash, so he won't ever be OHKoed, even by an ice beam if he doesn't get the important flinch. This guy is one of the backbones of my team.. Timid nature is to outspeed most opposition, Seed Flare because its a 120 base power move, along with a 40% chance to half your opponents special defense (80% with Serene Grace). Hidden power fire for those common Skarms, Ferrothorns, and Scizors, and Earth Power to achieve perfect neutral coverage.

Other Options------

Instead of Kyurem-W....

latios.gif

Latios @ Soul Dew
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Psyshock
- Draco Meteor
- Surf
- Hidden Power [Fire]

Used as a faster, while less powerful (but more bulky too) Kyurem-W, with perfect neutral coverage with this moveset.

Hey Jayfeather69,

This team has an interesting concept. Sun-boosted Specs Fusion Flares hit dang hard. But the team has some inherent flaws that keep it from success. The team is weak to a few common threats, like Ekiller, Ho-Oh, and Xerneas, who unfortunately are some of the most potent forces in the current meta. You also lack defog, and do not force opposing teams to defog themselves. This is very important with Xerneas too, I'll get to it later.

Ekiller runs through this team, with no actual checks... Honestly, this is the reason this team won't succeed. Run some check, and also changing Groudon to a Physically defensive spread with roar will help.

Ho-Oh is also mostly unanswered, since 2 BB will break Palker and Sun-boosted Sacred Fires hurt. This also needs some answer, idk what but Shaymin looks pretty replaceable to me.

Xerneas also beats this team, especially since it can KO Ho-Oh after rocks with Thunder or Psyshock, especially the latter though the former is more common. After that, nothing stands in its way. He's one of those mons that every decent Ubers team needs a check to, but this team lacks one outside of a Ho-Oh without defog support.

Anyways, about defog support, you really do need something for that, the most obvious choice being some support Arceus. Rockceus to check Ekiller sort of and Ho-Oh maybe? Alternatively, you can run MScizor who will check Xern.

Set notes/Optimization:

Physically Defensive Groudon > Current for Ekiller help and Zekrom too I guess.

AV Ho-Oh is weird. I get it, but it has no real advantages and this team will probably appreciate having more firepower since you run practically no offense investment.

Shaymin- current set is suboptimal. Run subseed or something like that that is better.

Kyurem-W- Ever considered Blue Flare? Idk if it gets notable KOs but it hits like a LO stacked onto your current Fusion Flare.

Scarfkia is odd, I don't like it. At least go Thunder > Aura Sphere to actually hit Kyogre, and run Lustrous Orb or AV depending on if you want power or bulk.

You can change the current Xern spread to be more optimal. I think 120 or 124 speed (can't remember) is sufficient.

Good luck!

Any day you see a Scarfed Aura Sphere Palkia is a bad day. Someone hates specially defensive Weavile.

Soul Dew is unreleased, you're running an offensive Groudon with... that, you're running ANY form of Scarf Palkia let alone Aura Sphere, you're running max Speed GeoXern, specially defensive AV Ho-Oh just doesn't.... well work, especially without Defog, Sash Shaymin-S, without Defog. Needs more sashed mons without a way to get rid of hazards.

Just keep what Minority Suspect said in mind

Oh, Lol, I didn't know that Kyurem-W got Blue Flare.

Side note- It doesnt, due to the fast that the Kyurem formes moveset is based off of the moveset of the Kyurem, not the Reshiram/Zekrom, right? Its confusing!

Also, I may be adding Thunder>Aura Sphere on my Scarfia

Lastly, I may replace a move on Shaymin with Defog.

Lastly, Updating my Groudon Set.

Groudon @ Leftovers
Ability: Drought
EVs: 248 HP / 12 Atk / 240 Def / 8 Spd
Impish Nature
- Roar
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Stealth Rock

Hows That?

No, the simplest change is to make Shaymin a support Arceus-Rock. You clearly need Defog and a Ho-Oh check, also while that Groudon set works, Ho-Oh doesn't

Also, can I run RSpin Over Defog?
Excadrill @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Iron Head

Personally I would go with rockceus like RotomPoison said. You could run a spinner but idk how well it fits here.

Also, this Ho-Oh Counters Xerneas like crazy- here

+2 252 SpA Fairy Aura Xerneas Moonblast vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Assault Vest Ho-Oh: 73-87 (17.5 - 20.9%) -- possible 5HKO

4 Atk Ho-Oh Brave Bird vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Xerneas: 169-201 (42.8 - 51%) -- 3.9% chance to 2HKO

And most Xerneas run Flash cannon, moonblast, and Focus blast

Xerneas @ Power Herb
Ability: Fairy Aura
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 176 HP / 252 SAtk / 80 Spd
Modest Nature
- Geomancy
- Moonblast

Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
IVs: NaN Atk
- Defog
- Toxic
- Whirlwind
- Roost

I chose Lugia because its fast, and the bulk is real for Defogging

Lugia doesn't get Defog + Multiscale, you want a bit more Speed on Xerneas to beat certain Scarfers, just fix Ho-Oh already, and why, even after all this, do you insist on using Aura Sphere on Palkia?

Ok going to be 100% honest. Scarf Palkia is really, really bad in this meta, and even though it helps Groudon (which should be a Landorus-T imo) and the Rockceus you should have added by checking Kyogre, where the others check Zekrom and Ho-Oh, it's possible to add a better Kyogre check over it, and then a Scarfer
