I know what you mean. But I'm doing this with a Cyndaquil with 4 Egg Moves. The struggle is real. Both Pokemon are like lvl 40 now though so once they get into the higher levels they learn moves less frequently and you don't have to worry about getting the wrong Egg Moves as often.

I did Fire Fang/Ice Fang/Metal Burst/Punishment for mine, but odds are I'll never use any of them, since it really doesn't need egg moves.
The interal RNG for breeding in X and Y is possibly the most Sadistic thing ever programmed into a Pokemon game. At least they made passing IVs easier with the Destiny Knot.

I never though I would see someone besides me who thinks this. I loved the Ball Seals, I used them on every Pokemon on my team in HG and Platinum.
Yeah, I imagine Powersaves might make it slightly easier as you can just stock up a bunch of Eggs, not have to hatch them and then just check them and see which one's are females and which ones will have what IVs. I think that's how it works.
I'm not sure, do these ball choices look appealing? Or am I missing something else?

You can't get a Dream Ball Charizard though because Charmander is only available as a starter or through the Friend Safari this Gen.
More accurately, Charmander is male only in the Entralink.

If you have two pokemon with 5IVs each, one perfect and the other imperfect, why is it sometimes you can get offspring with only 3IVs? Is that because the Destiny Knot does not guarantee passing 5IVs or something? Or is that because it has picked up the two IVs the parents each had X in?

I think it's because from the 5 guaranteed IV's from each parents you get, the Destiny Knot happen to chose the 2 imperfect ones in your parents and the third imperfect ivs is the IV independent of Destiny Knot.
WEll it's like this:
31/x/31/31/31/31
31/31/x/31/31/31
Knot picks 31/x/x/31/31/random
Random isn't 31, so you get 3 IV's.
The latter is correct.
It can't pass on the ball no, but I think I downloaded my male inside a dream ball from pokecheck a while back. It doesn't even match, but it looks amazing when it comes out of its ball ^^
