First OU RMT

Hey. It's my first RMT thread, and I just came back playing Pokemon last week because I just got the interest back after losing interest in Yu-Gi-Oh. I haven't always been creative in my team, but I tried making a team just recently and I have tested it a few times, and I think I'm pretty contented with the results I got in my battles. I don't think that there is a perfect team, but it's worth the time to get your Pokemon and try to be the best you can.

skarmory.gif

Skarmory @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 232 Def / 252 HP / 24 Spd
Impish Nature
- Spikes
- Defog
- Roost
- Brave Bird

This Skarmory is my lead, and also my physical wall. I found a bigger use of Spikes than Stealth Rock, as I just felt that it was a bigger use than Stealth Rock in my opinion. I use Defog instead of Whirlwind because I don't like the damage that Stealth Rocks and Spikes do to my Pokemon.

alakazam.gif

Alakazam (F) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Magic Guard
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Energy Ball

This is a good revenge killer, and if I ever fear a Stealth Rock and such, I may just switch into this. But really, that is a pretty risky decision and I don't do it to often and that's why I have Defog in my Skarmory. Otherwise, I think that this is a pretty standard Focus Sash Alakazam, the Sash because Alakazam is so frail and can be OHKO by strong pokemon, but it's fast and I just want to make sure I don't lose Alakazam easily.

florges.gif

Florges (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flower Veil
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Calm Nature
- Wish
- Moonblast
- Protect
- Aromatherapy

This is my Wish supporter/passer and my Special Wall. My boy Skarmory needed something to protect my team from the Special Attacks, and that's what Florges is here for. Asides from that, Dragons have a 4x weakness to Moonblast, and I think that it can OHKO most dragons without a sash. This girl also has Aromatherapy which can say no to status problems.

charizard-megax.gif

Charizard @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Serious Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Roost
- Dragon Claw
- Dragon Dance

Charizard X here is my physical sweeper. This beast from God knows where is a fast and strong Physical Attacker. Just one boost from Dragon Dance and it can OHKO a lot of Pokemon, but of course there are some exceptions. I choose Roost over an attacking move because I think that Charizard needs a healing from all that recoil it gets from Flare Blitz. Gives the ability to sweep.

rotom-wash.gif

Rotom-Wash @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 Def
- Trick
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp

This guy right here is my Scarf Special Attacker. It already has some pretty decent Special Defense(I can switch this into a couple of special attacks), so I guess that it could be a Special Attacker too. It also has some decent speed in my opinion, but it can't outspeed everything, but it's still good. I can Trick into a wall and give that wall some decent damage with WoW+Hydro Pump/Volt Switch.

heracross.gif

Heracross @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Megahorn
- Stone Edge
- Night Slash

Last but not the least, it's my boy Heracross. I had some beef with Shadow Pokemon, so I think Megahorn will do some damage to that type. With Choice Scarf, I can outspeed a Psychic type and just use Night Slash which might as well just OHKO that psychic pokemon. I also needed a fighting pokemon, so I think this would solve the last problems I had.

I would appreciate any comments and rates, as I'm pretty new to the game(Like I said, just got back to it). I'm looking forward to the suggestions that anyone is going to make. I'm open minded, so feel free to give some serious suggestions(could be fun suggestions, as long as the set or suggestion works). See you guys later!

I'll try this set again and I'll report the results again

For Skarmory, I suggest you take out Spikes for Stealth Rock or Whirlwind. Stealth Rocks is a more common hazard set up because it only takes one turn and can do massive damage to certain pokes which makes it a little more superior than spikes. Also, you might want Whirlwind. Why? Well, if your opponents Pokemon is setting up or you really want to get rid of it from the field, whirlwind will take it out and switch out into a random Pokemon. As for Florges. I would recommend swapping Florges out for Blissey. Blissey can take Special Attacks better than Blissey and has natural cure so any status moves won't affect it much. Also Heracross should definitely be replace with Landorus ( Therian ). Here's a set I recommend for it:

645-therian.gif

Landorus-Therian @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EV's: 56 Atk, 200 Def, 252 Spe.
Move-set:
U-Turn
Earthquake
Knock Off
Stone Edge

Thanks for the tip, I'm going to try it out soon.
So I shouldn't care about entry hazards anymore?

I mean, it's not necessary to have hazards, but it can still be very useful. If you still want hazards and whirlwind, I would take out BraveBird. I would be careful from prankster taunt users like, thundurus, sabelye, liepard, etc.
