Is it possible to get cyndaquil in anything other than a pokeball? I've seen two people with repeat ball cyndaquils in their trade thread. I'm guessing this is only doable by catching them in Pokemon Colosseum and transferring them to X/Y. Do pokemon from Gen 3 games really keep the ball they were caught in?

Looks like it's possible by trading the pokeball over. Looks like a pain in the butt. So the balls from gen 3 do pass over when the pokemon is transferred to newer games? In that case, guess I'm searching for a female cyndaquil in either a luxury ball or a premier ball! Anyone have one? Please check my thread, I will give any six of my listed pokemon for a female cyndaquil in one of those balls. Nature and IVs of the cyndaquil don't matter so much. I just really want my favorite starter in my favorite ball. :D

You could go Bold or Calm with 0 attack, but you could also go for a 0 speed nature with 0 attack ;)OMG just look at the page and i found this :
