The other day I was talking to fingerscrossed and asked if he wanted to make a team. He was basically shocked that I had never used Mega-Mawile, since it's such a threat, and we decided to build around Mawile (whose hair almost rivals Mega-Ampharos).

After that, we quickly decided to make the team a Deo-Sharp team as it is probably the best playstyle available right now, and it actually let me ladder from 1550 to 1903 in just TWO days and approximately four hours of battling. Not bad. :S

On to the team :)

Mawile.png

Mawile @ Mawilite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 124 Spd / 252 Atk / 132 HP
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Play Rough
- Sucker Punch
- Fire Fang

As I said in the preview to the team, I had never used Mega-Mawile before this team, and I have to say, it is an absolutely amazing Pokemon. After a Swords Dance, nothing can really take a Sucker Punch unless they resist it. Fire Fang is necessary to hit Ferrothorn and (Mega)-Scizor as they would give the team problems otherwise. The EVs are max attack, and enough speed to beat un-invested base 65s with the rest in bulk. Mawile is a great Pokemon as it can set up on a multitude of common things, like Lati@s, and even support Tyranitar. This Pokemon is a monster and I would highly recommend using it if you have not before.

DeoxysDefense.png

Deoxys-Defense @ Red Card
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 216 HP / 40 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Taunt
- Superpower

This is a DeoSharp team...so here is a Deoxys. The set is pretty standard. The goal is to get up hazards and to prevent the opponent from doing the same. The team struggles switching in a bit on Bisharp, so Superpower is nice to OHKO that. The EVs allow this Deoxys to OHKO any Bisharp up to 32 HP EV Bisharp. Not bad. And a great way to start the match. Red Card is always a nice item to have on a hazard setting lead.

Latias.png

Latias (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Substitute

Latias is basically the glue to this team. It's the only Pokemon with a special attack, which is sometimes necessary to kill annoying things like Gliscor. Latias is most important for the team when it comes to three things. 1. Switching in on Ground/Fire attacks. 2. Psyshock Mega-Venusaur. 3. Lure Scizor/Ferro.
That's really what Latias is on the team for. It has excellent synergy with the other Pokemon on the team. It's best switch ins (Aegislash and Tyranitar) can be handled by Bisharp and Breloom repectively. It doesn't seem that important, but Latias is an amazing member of the team.

Bisharp.png

Bisharp @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
- Psycho Cut

I present to you, the best Bisharp set in the game. Adamant Bisharp is basically one of the most powerful Pokemon in the tier right now. Defiant really forces the opponent to think about Defogging, and a Bisharp at +2 is scary. Adamant Nature is just for maximum power, while Knock Off and Iron Head are good STAB. Sucker Punch is one of 3 forms of priority on the team. Now. Let's discuss Psycho Cut. Psycho cut is amazing. Do you want to switch in your Keldeo on my Bisharp? OHKO after Stealth Rock + 1 spike. Do you want to switch in Mega Venusaur? 2HKO after Stealth Rock. ~70% to Conkeldurr. The main switch ins to this monster get hit hard by Psycho Cut. Although you lose the ability to beat Pokemon like Quagsire, and trapping Lati@s. I think netting surprise kills with Psycho Cut is more than worth it, and will probably change the way people play around and prepare for Bisharp.
Just call it the Goomyscrossed set please. :)

Breloom.png

Breloom @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Jolly Nature

- Spore
- Bullet Seed
- Mach Punch
- Rock Tomb

Ah, standard LO 3 Attacks Breloom. This Pokemon is not much of a help against stall teams, but it is incredible useful against offensive teams. The set is basically as standard as they come. Spore is one of the best moves in the game, so fingerscrossed and I decided to carry it. Bullet Seed is a great attack in general, as it breaks Substitutes and has an amazing amount of power with Technician. Mach Punch is the final form of priority on the team. It OHKOs Excadrill, which is really nice as they are basically everywhere and can Rapid Spin. Rock Tomb is for hitting flying types and Lati@s that want to switch in to Breloom's STAB attacks.

Landorus-T.png

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- U-turn
- Explosion

Scarf Landorus-T really rounds out the team nicely. It is the second ground immunity on the team, and is a great check to threats like Mega-Pinsir and Thundurus. The EV spread is pretty standard, but we chose Adamant Nature because we wanted the extra power. We figured we were trying to just outpace the non-scarf meta. As this set allows us to still outspeed threats like Dragon Dance Mega Charzard-X and Mega Tyranitar at +1. EdgeQuake is standard and it hits a lot of the metagame hard. U-turn is great for momentum. And finally, Explosion is used because it does a crap ton to Mega Venusaur, and it allows the team to net some surprise kills early game on Pokemon that would otherwise trouble the team.

Here are some replays of me using the team:

Here is an 1800 rated player using ZardGoth Stall

Here is an 1870 player using offense

I'd again like to thank fingerscrossed for helping build the team and THE TILT IS GONE.

Pretty happy with our team. I feel like the more you ended up laddering the less I found wrong with it.
Also from 1500-1900 is pretty impressive considering the jump...
Really fun building this and definitely interested to see how people react to some of our sets :]
ANyway, fun build with you mate! Look forward to more for sure

PS for anyone that is using this team. I heard if you start tilting and or losing.. just name one of your pokemon FIngerscrossed and youll start winning... It's a proven theory.

-Cheers

Enjoying this team. Damn bros good job.
:) i didn't come for a rate cuz' this team is awesome already.
i've just been a on a tilt for a while cuz my old account was locked:(
so i have to start again from 1200
:( but this team is speeding up the process so thank you:)

Where's my doom desire specs rachi tho

All right that aside, this is a pretty solid team, with lots of priority and shtuff.
But, what i'm sorta sensing is a general weakness to Subwisp gengar. Nothing can really take either a shadow ball or a will-o, and while bisharp does beat it, heavy mind-games are involved and in most scenarios bisharp will end up crippled, which is basically the most important member of the team.
Thus, you may want to consider putting knock off>explosion on lando-t.
Really, from a glance, that's all i can find :] gj on this team buddy

Excellent team I've been using to post a full video "review" of the team.

So reserving this spot for the video showcasing strengths, weaknesses, and etc.

Can you explain why you picked Latias over Latios for a purely offensive set?

I'd be glad to explain. Basically fingers and I chose Latias over Latios because it has better survivability, which can really help against Pokes like Landorus-I, Keldeo, and Thundurus. The power is still enough for what it needs to accomplish on the team (IE, kill Mega Venu, Scizor, Ferro). fingers can add on if he sees fit, but this is why I like it over Latios.

Fair enough. Under what conditions do you use substitute? Doesn't it just hurt her survivability?

yeah, i feel like recover would be better, or even a 4th attacking move. if you want it to have better survivability, why not throw recover on there? no one is going to be switching in a lando, thundurus, or keldeo to a latias anyway, so sub just cuts how many attacks you can actually use

If you know you'll resistant an attack or they basically have to swap. You out speed most things, so if they try WoWing or toxic etc sub then attack

Hey! I'm testing out this team ATM and its doing well for me. I just have two questions:

As far as Gliscor goes, do you just Draco Meteor it into oblivion?

And concerning the Mega Zards, I suppose Latias is your Zard Y counter and Landorus-T is your Zard X counter ( even though Lando can take out Zard Y once you know its Zard Y, though it can't safely switch in). But the thing is, Latias is screwed if it switches into Zard X as it Dances, and Lando gets OHKO'd by Fire Blast in the Sun by Zard Y. Do these two give your team trouble? It seems like an awfully risky guessing game. Maybe if you switch Latias in on any unrevealed Zard; if its Y, you can eat the Fire Blast and OHKO back, or if its X, it has immediate pressure on it so it can only get off one Dance, in which case you'll have to sacrifice Lati and bring in Lando for the revenge kill. Is that about right?

Thank you for the feedback! For Gliscor, if I can get Latias in safely, then it's just draco. If not, try to predict EQ and bring in Latias, sub, then attack it. And Latias is generally the Zard switch in, but it's somewhat easy to tell if they are X or Y depending on how much Rapid Spin/Defog support they have. :S As always, it is a guessing game though.
