Which would you choose (not a Ditto for breeding, but for battling)?I'd say HP Ice and HP Fire.

For battling generally I'd go for HP Ice, as Ice can take down Dragons, bug, grass and ground types from unsuspecting opponents. (And since Dragons are still a viable threat as they usually have been in every meta game, HP Ice is a Hidden Power I would find much more useful in general. Also depends on your party and what Pokemon you are working with as well. But in general, I'd say HP Ice.Which would you choose (not a Ditto for breeding, but for battling)?
Sorry if this sounds stupid but what is TSV?

But Ice is normally effective on Bug. (Not to be mean)For battling generally I'd go for HP Ice, as Ice can take down Dragons, bug, grass and ground types from unsuspecting opponents. Stands for trainer shiny value- if it matches an egg's shiny value, the egg hatched will result in a shiny
ok thanks yall.trainer shiny value
it is a static hidden value that every game has, and there's no way to see your TSV without some outside programme (like KeyBV), but if an egg's shiny value matches the TSV of the game it's hatched in, it'll hatch as a shiny

Opinions on this Golem for my TR team?
![]()
Sturdy / N/A (haven't decided on a held item yet)
Relaxed
Stealth Rock | Gyro Ball | Earthquake | Stone Edge
The idea is basically a Defensive wall that's immune to Electricity (currently the biggest threat to my TR team), along with a Stealth Rock setter. I'm iffy on him as a 6th teammate, as he has so many weaknesses, but he's the slowest and bulkiest Ground type I could find, and he has Stealth Rock.
What about Rock blast over Stone edge? accuracy over power, and to break focus sashes.
Now that i'm thinking on that it could go either way.Accuracy over power would apply if the move you're suggesting didn't already have problems with accuracy, and I'd rather just put Smack Down on then take my chances with Rock Blast.

Weakness policy! Ditch gyro ball and go rock polish. You wont always have trick room up..Opinions on this Golem for my TR team?

I feel your pain, that mega-Khangaskhan is a pain to deal with.I hate it when random (mostly japanese ) players challenge you to a battle. Only for you to enter and see their team is comprised of Mega Kangaskhan, Rotom Wash with Choice specs trick, Swagger foul play Klefki, Gengar, Outrage Garchomp, and Talonflame. There is literally nothing my mostly UU team can do to that.

You could always try curse steelix..its slower, bulkier, gets stab steel moves, and meets all your other requirements with golemHmm...
So, I'm hearing ditch Gyro Ball, go Explosion with Normal Gem, or Weakness Policy/Rock Polish. Just FYI, this is purely singles, though I will definitely consider that sort of Golem if and when I start getting into Doubles.
I might go Normal Gem Explosion for the chance that there's a threat my team can't take out otherwise, but now I'm kind of considering just ditching Golem and getting a fast sweeper if I'm not able to get Trick Room up enough.

Honestly, I probably wouldn't choose Steelix, as good as it sounds for the team, solely because I really hate how it looks.
