Well I'm doing all this from my phone cuz yolo swag. Anyways, I just need help fixing up my team. I've won most my games with it, like 90% or above but I'm at average rating and once I get higher, I'm gonna be screwed so yeah. Anyways, here's the team:
Manaphy (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Hydration
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Tail Glow
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Energy Ball
Well this is pretty self explanatory. People think you need rain for Manaphy to be viable but my god this thing is a beast. Once I get a Tail Glow out, sometimes even 2, this thing can SWEEP unless ofc I'm going up against like a Thundurus/Jolteon/Mega Venu etc. But yeah, Surf > Scald just for more damage. Ice beam for coverage against dragon types and Energy Ball for coverage against any water type that thinks they can sit in and win against it like CroCune or Quagsire. I had an older set on my Manaphy that I was thinking on running instead and it was alot more bulky. It was 252hp/252def/4spd with Bold and Calm Mind with the rest of the 3 attacks. So I'd have defense on both sides. But a +1 and 236 spe wasn't enough for me but idk, I'll see what you guys think.
Garchomp (M) @ Garchompite
Trait: Rough Skin
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Outrage/Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Poison Jab
Well Manaphy had weaknesses to both grass and electric so I wanted something that resisted both of those... And I've also wanted to make a team with Garchomp... So I thought why not, yolo lol. Well in all seriousness, Chomp resists grass type moves and is immune to electric so I can safely swich into a Zapdos or Magnezone or most things that Manaphy is having trouble with. EV's are just to keep max speed and attack is enormous on its own so no adamant needed. You can switch between Outrage and Dragon Claw like me because I can't decide which one I like better but either way, they're both powerful stabs. Stone edge is for the EdgeQuake combo and lets me destroy any flying type, esp that annoying Talonflame. Earthquake is another stab for coverage and poison jab is for fairies that think they can take me out. wutlolno
Heatran (M) @ Leftovers/Air Balloon
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 248 SDef / 8Spd
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Lava Plume
- Earth Power
- Stealth Rock
- Roar
Well this is a standard, specially defensive set for a Heatran. Lava Plume is for stab and 30% burn. Hits Skarmory, Scizor and any steel type hard. Stealth Rock is self explanatory, and it's my only entry hazard and it usually gets defogged away so idec. Roar is for any batom passers or just anyone I don't want out like lolno. Earth Power again is for coverage and if I predict a switch in like another Heatran.
Latios (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Defog
- Psyshock
- Thunderbolt
Latios is the defogger of my team, like it is for alot of people because it's very reliable. Thunderbolt is just for coverage because I noticed I had no electric type moves and it comes in useful alot. Draco Meteor for hard hitting stab with life orb. Psyshock as another stab for Mega Venu and Conk. And defog to get rid of entry hazards. HP Fire/HP Fighting (For Bisharp/Tyranitar that try to pursuit trap you)/Surf/Energy Ball are all alternatives to T-Bolt. All personal preference.
Bisharp (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Defiant
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Pursuit
- Iron Head
Well Bisharp just sorta... Came because I couldn't think of what else I should put in. I mean, it works pretty well with my team but I haven't tested it enough to say it's a definite stay. Pursuit is to trap Lati@s. Knock off is when I feel they're gonna switch mons and it helps alot. Sucker punch is its best move because it's speed isn't the best and with SP, it hits first. Unless ofc you have someone else with priority... Then you're hopeless. Iron head is for stab and coverage and mainly because idk what else to put. I was thinking between low kick or psycho cut but idk.
Togekiss (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Air Slash
- Dazzling Gleam
- Thunder Wave
- Fire Blast
Just like Bisharp... This thing sorta just... Came... I needed a fairy type on the team so I just decided to throw this on. I've never used it before and from what I've seen, it's not bad. This thing alone can take out 2-3+ pokes if in the right conditions, but usually 2. The HP EV's are to take hits because I don't expect this thing to out speed anyone at all. So for that reason, I have T-Wave like everyone else. Air Slash is for the flinch with serene grace so if they're paralyzed, it's not gonna be a fun time. Dazzling Gleam is for stab and coverage and for those dragon types. I don't have roost just for the sole reason that it's not needed. This thing is pretty bulky, but let alone that, I prefer fire blast because it helps me ALOT with those steel types like Scizor that think they can just switch in and expect to kill me.
Well I think that's pretty much it, just lemme know what you think and I'm open to all legit suggestions. Just justify why you say what you said o_O Anyways, thanks for checking it out.
