I'm looking for a 0/0/0/0/0/0 female Togepi evo line. Please CMT if you have one.

On a side note, would it be considered legitimate if I used a hacked parent to start the Time Machine method (check the spread) then use legitimate parents afterwards for the final product?
If you use a hacked parent, any of its offspring are considered hacks. Resist the temptation :)

But I'm not using the hacked parent's offspring. I'm merely using it to check the spread for the Time Machine method. I'm personally hoping a mod can determine whether it's ok to use hacked parents but ONLY to check the Time Machine spread.

Well there was this time I changed parents like 3 times on the same spread and the third time I happened to get a shiny froakie out of it, so I guess yes, unless someone else can confirm it (stares at Hozu)
I've begun breeding to narrow down a flawless spread to ESV reset for. If I save after putting my good parents in the day care, but before they create an egg, will the Spread be affected?

Hello! Looking for females of the following

Level Ball Growlithe
Heavy Ball Machop
Moon Ball Houndour

If you have these, (Egg moves are a plus) please CMT or PM me for trade details!

Does time travel breeding change gender? If I reset enough, will I get a female, or is it set in stone like the heritage?

You can save, change your parents, go trade online, change your parents again and the spread should still be the same. In fact you could even request the pokemon you need here as long as another egg isn't generated.
Even if the pokemon has a 12.5% Gender ratio?
Look at it this way: what the game does is roll the RNG for gender when determining the spread. If said number falls at 10% (inside the 12.5% range) when calling for female then every gender ratio will yield a female offspring. However if said number falls on 13% (just outside 12.5%) then all 12.5% offsprings will be male, however all 33%, 50% and 75% female spreads will yield a female offspring. Of course none of this applies to ungendered or 100% gender ratio Pokemon.

PS: And yes, said random number is also set in the spread along with nature (unless everstone) and IVs. So a 50% female from the scouts would easily be a male when using 12.5% species.

Ah, that makes sense, thanks.

Looking for a male Drill Run Beedrill/Forretress/Escavalier or their pre evos of any Nature/IVs. Willing to offer 31/31/31/x/31/31 Jolly Technician Scyther with Defog, Baton Pass, Quick Guard and Counter

Is it detectable if you take the offspring of a hacked pokemon into a wifi battle or something? Oh man, now I'm going to be super-paranoid about all the pokemon I got from other people to breed. Pokemon they traded me could have been offspring of hacked pokemon.
Like, I recently got a luxury ball cyndaquil. That is pretty hard to get if you don't have the games and link cables to transfer it through games. What if that person just hacked a luxury ball onto a cyndaquil, bred it, and then traded one to me? How can I tell? I want to breed these cyndaquil, but I don't want hack-babies. :(
Edit: I just realized hack-babies sounds like crack-babies. Haha. (Not that there is anything funny about crack-babies.)

You have to be faithful. I detest hacks, but there's no way to tell when it's got legit details. You have no way to tell with Cyndaquil whether someone went through that process or just hacked it, so I advise you just forgot about it and trust the person.

Sooo if I bred a flawless one from the parent and used it in battles, would it get detected if it is indeed the great-great-grand-baby of a hack? That's what I'm worried about.

Bump for new page:

I'm looking for some Trick Room Pokemon. Anything with the proper IV spread, but with 0 speed IVs, or just the female with 0 speed if that's what you have.

No, it wouldn't, as if the Pokemon passed the oh-almighty-unpassable-wall that is Pokebank, the game treats it as legit, including it's offspring.
Think of it like this way; Luxury Ball Cyndaquil is possible. Game knows it's possible. Game treats it as legit.

(even them contrary friend ball snivy)

Best ball for shiny Hawlucha?
